2010? I think it's been on the skids since 1996 (Dole), at least.
We have two choices the bummer and his libs or the gop.
The best way to get back at the RNC and other GOP orgs. who are backing Romney...is to hit em where it hurts by withholding ALL contributions..
For a long time, I have contributed directly to Conservative candidates only,
A party big whig friend of mine says that GOP donors are still alive and well.
Watch and see what happens if Mittens wins.
But it will only work to get their attention if we all follow suit and let them know that we will not tolerate their defection to RINOs.
Cut off the money source.
And FA, linguine spined Independents vote but they don’t contribute.
So the leftists buy a few pro-Romney polls and we are all supposed to throw our skirts over our heads?
Is that it?
Not voting for him was the best decision I've made, politicswise, in recent memory.
Who do you think should’ve gotten the nomination over Dole? Just curious.
Time for a new party, seeded with defections from the GOP.
Read my lips, it's been longer than that.
You are right, but you do not have to give them any money, put up with the way Washington GOP types look down on us unwashed masses. You no longer have to watch FOX nor tolerate Hannity or listen to Krauthammer. Independent Conservative is the way to go. Being a Conservative in the GOP is like ending up at the end of the night with the most beautiful woman you have ever seen only to get into bed and find out that anatomically she is like a Barbie doll. That said I am the uncounted unpolled ABO voter. I would vote for Bill the Cat over Obama.

That’s about when I officially started actually telling people I am no longer a republican. It was actually in 1997, and after I had dumped TV for a while (and never went back to either).
Hey!.... Go take your complaint to the media. They run everything.

I like to use this analogy: You are a jew and you have two choices: Hitler or Stalin.
The consternation the “jew” would feel with such a choice gives you a flavor for why I will chose “none of the above if Romney gets the nom. If Gingrich gets it, I’ll hold my nose while voting, but still may pass out.
Ack!?
“Son of a Bush”
Nice descriptor...
Is that your quote?
Can we use it here on FR?

“Read my lips, it’s been longer than that.”
I’d go back to the Nelson Rockefeller days...
I would vote for Jack the Ripper before I give advantage to president Barack Hussein Obama by not voting.
Pal
we will now get and have already got those Romneybots and the establishment coming on here and other sites like this to tell us we need to come together, we have to defeat obama etc bla bla bla.
Not going to work this time, we did it when Sarah was on the ticket and regardless now they have burned their bridges by attacking the base, thinking we’re too stupid to make our own minds up on who we want for the nomination, instead they attacked us, they attacked the conservative candidates, they used their talking heads and I’ve had it and will never vote for Romney ever .
They really think we’re so stupid that if they get someone on the VP ticket we’;ll just hold our noses again and vote, NO WAY THIS TIME
Once you slam the door in your face, they will blame you for Romney losing the election. “If only we had the support of the Tea Party we could have won”. They will conveniently omit the part where they vilified everything the Tea Party stands for and backed a Northeast liberal to carry their banner. Your position on the political spectrum will have remained consistent and steadfast while the GOP drifted to the left. But they will never admit that it was the GOP that left you, not the other way around.
