It’s been a relationship that has been on the skids since 2010. I tried to make it work, but after I saw that I was the only one making any concessions in our waning relationship I realized that you no longer considered our relationship worth saving. Instead of wasting each other’s time let me just pack up my vote and get the hell out of here. Goodbye Republican Party. It was fun while it lasted.

Whew! That felt good! I have been wanting to write that letter for a while now. I can’t believe I waited this long! I should have done it right after the election in November 2010. I knew then that it was over then but I was hoping things would change, but it didn’t. The Republican Party has done nothing but insult me and my Tea Party friends. I mean look! These bastards are going after Allen West now! Allen freakin’ West man! You know what really jumps my tracks? These same Sons of Bushs are the first ones to cry about the need for “party unity”. Un-flippin-real!
I will tell you what’s going to happen. If Romney gets the nomination they are going to come to us at first with hat in hand asking for our time and money to “help defeat Obama.” When we roll our eyes and slam the door in their faces, they will tell us they don’t need us anyway, their new best buds, the Independents, will help out. After they realize that the precious Independent voter isn’t going to waste their time helping out, they will be back again.

This is exactly what the Rinos want.
They want conservatives - their only opposition in the country - to give up and let them remain in power, as a permanent minority with the DNC as the majority. They want conservatives out of the political process. They don’t care if the GOP is a permanent minority as long as they get to totally control the minority in Congress. They would rather have Obama than a conservative in the White House. Don’t surrender the GoP over to them. Defeat them!
I have mentioned to a lot of freeper that say they will stay home to leave president blank and vote down ballot for any conservatives running....cannot afford to just sit it out but don’t have to vote for Romney if he makes it...
Well, now that I think of it, I too will vote in State and local elections. But not for anyone the RINO’s try to stuff down my throat.

We are being fed a $hT sandwich with hair jel for a condiment. And this is absutely expected after the 2008 force-feeding of a very similar fecal feast.
The way I see it - a Romney (supposedly, according to those infamous chad-incompetent flunkies, the “electable” One) vs. Obama = second Obama term. I’m not convinced the US can survive Obama part II.
On the other hand- if Conservatives would stand their ground, since the GOP is Hell-bent to not only lose the election, but to further crap on the Conservatives, and vote for a real conservative... Then a message would be sent. After all, if we are getting Obama 2 anyway...
