I believe that the path to wayward thinking about these modern issues all begins with a profound state of ignorance about the subject of American history. Unless a person truly understands what life was like under the iron-fisted rule of kings and potentates of old, they will not understand the importance of the basic principles underlying what's in our Constitution.
Sadly, as every one of us has seen, those who have benefited the most from the social structures that document has enabled, are most likely to not comprehend its value.
When we get to the point where even 'well-informed' conservatives begin arguing in favor of allowing the treasonous bastards club to re-interpret the fundamental meanings of the Constitution, we've nearly reached the end of the line.
A new generation of Americans may have to learn the hard-won lessons of their forebears all over again, in order to correctly reset our government. Unfortunately, those of us who have a firm grip on basic American principles of freedom and liberty, will suffer along with them.
Hear, Hear!!!
Nailed it BTTT!
