Asking for prayers. Having surgery Monday. (Vanity)

Hi all. I think this is my first vanity. I'm hoping you all don't mind, but I'm asking for prayers for myself. I'm having surgery on Monday, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't absolutely terrified. The surgery is a core decompression of the femural head in my right hip. I have Avascular Necrosis in both hips, likely due to a lifetime of taking Steroids for Asthma.

I have 3 daughters, and I'm so afraid of something happening to me. My respiratory history is awful, and both my parents died young, and it all just makes me scared. Luckily, my husband is home, and he has been given leave to care for me post-operatively for the first two weeks. I will be unable to bear weight on the leg for 8 weeks, but my awesome Marine Corps family is already rallying to help.

Everyone here is always so generous in offering prayers and support, so I was hoping I could ask for some. Thanks so much in advance.

I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers. It really brought me peace. Honestly, my faith has been shaky lately, and this really lifted me. The surgery went very well, but I did end up with a respiratory infection. Yesterday wasn't so great. I am shaky on the crutches and terrified of falling. My husband and girls have been amazing, and I feel so truly blessed to have them.

I wanted to reply to everyone individually, but I'm on an iPad, and I'm not sure how. Again, thank you to each and every person here who prayed for me. I went into the surgery that morning with a very abnormal (for me) sense of calm and peace, and I'm sure those prayers were why.
