This is a brilliant ad!
This new ad by Rick Santorum features a Romney-look alike as “Rombo,” shooting mud at Santorum! It tells voters that “Rombo” is now going to come after Santorum with negative attacks, “slinging mud,” but that this time it’s “going to backfire.”
I saw it this morning on F&F and just about spat coffee all over the flat screen! It’s hysterical!!!! The guy DOES look just like Romney!
Pretty good ad. But, Mitt would never use a weapon that powerful to fire mud. He’d use something appropriate for hunting, “small varmints, if you will” as he has been doing all his life.

Cotton,I agree with you, this ad is super. But, I’m a Newt a supporter, and just factually, here’s the problem.
Romney has a stash of near $40M,- Rick maybe $4-5M, Newt maybe $1M. That means, Romney runs 10 attack ads against Rick for every 1 Rick runs. Rick and Newt can’t make up the monetary difference- because Romney’s money comes from the Goldman Sachs/Wall Street crowd- unlimited resources.
The conservative gets overwhelmed. That’s what happened with Newt. Perhaps, Rick will fare better-but I doubt it— the money is disproportionate. That’s the problem.
No ill towards Rick- wish him well.

There’s nothing that can stop Romney and his mininions and their attack machine. Santorum has chosen to ridicule Romney to blunt his attack ads. Picture this ad being right after one of Romney’s attack ads. Completely undercuts it.
I hope Santorum beats Romney in MI. Once Romney is dispatched, Santorum and Gingrich can debate conservatism till the convention. I could enthusiastically vote for either but will not under any circumstances vote for Romney.
