President Obama firmly placed one foot into a political quagmire by supporting Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius decision to renege on the conscience exception to Obamacare. This allowed religious organizations to opt out of providing health care coverage for contraception and sterilization. Sebelius decision placed Catholic employers squarely on the horns of a dilemma. They could either violate their religious beliefs or pay a huge fine to HHS. When the president offered a compromise in response to mounting public outcry, instead of backing away from the controversy, he planted his other foot into the muck.

Well, it’s not like he said there were 57 states or nuth’n.
LOL! I wonder if he thinks it’s okay if contraceptives can be handed out by Navy Corpse Men?
I guess Pelosi was correct about obamacare, ‘You have to pass it to see whats in it’. Wonder what other gems are in it.
It’s not a mistake, it’s a dry run. Like flying Imams.
I disagree that this is a blunder.
You would not believe the ferocious support on leftist websites comments sections (including the Washington Post) for the democrat party war on Christians, and Catholics in particular.
The legions of evil are pumped up.
“Its not a mistake, its a dry run. Like flying Imams”
Bingo!
100% dead on correct.
Wake the hell up!!! This was no blunder. This is an essential tactic in the Obama re-election campaign—aimed primarily at Santorum. Call it the Richie Cunningham startegy. It is part of a two-pronged early strategy against the opposition. The first tactic was “Occupy Wall Street”—The Richie Rich (or Romney)strategy. They think we are stupid, and thus far I fear they are correct. Get Angry. Call them liars. Expose the strategy. Ironic that they do not really have one to effectivley counter Gingrich, but are relying on the Republican Party internally to take Newt down.
LOL! The hits just keep on coming!
Wonder what other gems are in it.

Pretty much anything the Secreatary say’s is in it.
The way it is written she has pretty much dictatorial powers.
Well guess what? We’re pumped up too. A demonstration has been organized in the heart of West Palm Beach, and everyone I know os on a writing jag - to their CongressCritters. Incidentally, I’m a former ACLU member too - we were encourages to join in law school. Nowadays, I make it a point to send them a religious Christmas card every year.
You may be right. Nothing surprises me anymore.
I disagree strongly. I think he(as in his handlers) know exactly how to play to their base, and to the “moderates”*. I think Dick Morris is right in that they understand that abortion is becoming a loosing argument for them, so by turning it to “paleopolitical conservatives want to deny women access to contraception and keep them barefoot and pregnant”, they can whip the ignorant and their base (but I’m being redundant, aren’t I) into a voting frenzy, and sweep the big 0 into a second term on a frothy frenzy of adoration.
*Moderate in this context means people who aren’t informed and are not interested enough to become so, and can’t make up their minds if there were to do so.
I can’t argue with your logic, LaLaLaw. But we are pushing the hell back and we ain’t giving up! I know atheists who are pissed about this - they’re on OUR side. They at least know if the O-Man tramples on a right they care little for, he’s eventually gonna hit something they DO.
You should send tham a doodie, gift wrapped.
We just have to keep hammering back that the objection is the Church PAYING for the contraceptives. Btw, I LOL with your comment, “ignorant and their base (but Im being redundant, arent I).”
Ha ha ha ha har!!
What do Catholics and Evangelicals expect from a muslim in the WH?
That he promotes Judeo-Christian values?
How naive.
HAHAHAHAHA! Great idea!
Rather reminiscent of paying jizya to the muzzies in order to be allowed to live.
