FReep this Poll: Who Won the Republican Debate Tonight?
Pundit Press ^ | 2/22/2012 | Thomas Ferdousi

An up and down night. Each one of the candidates tried their best attacks and both Santorum and Romney were on the defensive at least some of the night. Who won?

Anyone know a site where I can stream the debate since I missed it?

Rick Santorum winning so far....he did well especially since the audience was Romney folks and Paul was attacking Santorum for Romney since his son wants to be Romney's VP. There is some shenanigans going on big time.

As usual, I was waiting for Gingrich to speak because he had the clearest, most interesting answers. Second in my view was Paul. Romney and Santorum continually bore me in these debates. I prefer Newt but will vote for Santorum. will not vote for Romney and don’t think Paul will ever be the nominee.

I think Santorum did very well under constant attack, but Newt probably did best.

I think Romney came across very disingenous and slimy.

Newt was calm, cheerful and intelligent and he hit the target every time, without talking too much.

Newt is the only one of the four who says the things nobody else has dared to say, about how Obama is destroying our country and our values.

I thought early on, Santorum was a little on edge so he was just a tad flat footed. By the end, he was parrying with omney and not only holding his own, but winning. I think he won the earmark scuffle, along with endorsement of Specter. His arguing that Romneycare is on many aspects, to the left of Obamacare was pretty damning in my opinion...but apparently that goes against the news outlets.

Newt won overall, with Santorum as a second with Romney coming in third.

Gingrich as usual spoke with clarity and knowledge while Romney rarely said anything we have not heard dozens of times before, same for Rick and Paul. Newt Gingrich won it.

They all did pretty well because they all attacked Obama more. Paul was worst with his isolationism. Over all, I thought Newt did best. I loved the way he treated the “describe yourself in one word” question as the joke that it was.

However, any of them would be better than Obama so will vote for anyone but the Marxist now in the White House....Paul is a stretch.

I only saw the second hour and do agree with you.

Romney’s saying “you ask the questions you want, and I will give the answers I want”, was unbecoming of him, and the low point for me.

Who won?

Probably not the United States of America.

We have to choose one of out of the herd but it’s a damn frightening endeavor.

The RNC has chosen their golden boy, and they will do anything to get him there. Newt, Rick, and Ron are not their golden boy, so they will do whatever is in their power to tear any opposition down. If you vote for mittens the used car salesman, you might as well throw away your vote for obamanation. Mittens and Hussein are two sides to the same coin.

I think they usually replay it later. Give it a try.
