How many times has Rand Paul been interviewed by Sean Hannity?

How many times has Rand Paul been interviewed by Sean Hannity?

Does anyone have a number? Is is weekly?

It usually starts like this:

Sean: "I've asked your father Ron Paul to come on the show but for some reason he won't. I ask all the candidates the tough questions. I invite all the candidates on the show. Some take take the opportunity more than others..."

Rand: "I've told him he should come on your program."......

Sean: [then the interview with Rand Paul proceeds].

How nice of Sean to give Rand an open invitation to be on his show (with a nod that he's a "surrogate") because his father "won't" come on his show.

How convenient. Rand gets to promote himself. Someone who has said: ‘It Would Be An Honor’ if Romney Asked Him to Be VP

The article LINKED and excerpted below was recently published in the American Spectator. The author believes the GOP has a chance to win with a Romney-Paul (son) alliance and connects the dots that there is a Romney-Paul (father) alliance.

Isn't that special? /S

The Deal Between Romney and Paul? .........."This alliance would essentially kill three birds with one stone and guarantee Republican content in November. First, it would give the "establishment" beltway types their guy, pleasing the old bulls in the party and the Karl Roves and Ann Coulters of the world. Second, those conservatives reluctant to support a wishy-washy mush candidate like Mitt, who has thus far successfully managed to divide the party with his bombardment of character assassination attacks on "fellow" limited-government office seekers, will hold their noses and vote for the guy if a "true conservative" like Rand were also on the ticket. Conservatives will believe (wishfully) that Rand will hold Mitt's feet to the fire when it comes to policy implementation. They will also see this as an opportunity to have a Tea Party member in a position of significant power and influence, a potential launching pad for Rand's young political career should he pursue the office himself one day."........

Hannity is just doing a Kabuki dance for his GOP-e masters.

But, but Sean reassures us he is neutral. I bet his good friend Ann Coulter will attest to that.

I don’t like Rand any better than I like his old man. Well, okay. That may be stretching it... but if it’s Mitt / Rand I’m writing someone else in.

I have never trusted Rand Paul from day one. When he came out for his father, it only confirmed my initial suspicion. How he, and Marco Rubio for that matter, can pull the wool over so many eyes is beyond me.

Neither Paul deserves the Vice Presidency.

Every time someone said, "Ron Paul wouldn't do anything to hurt Rand" I cringed. They're the same. Dad draws the fire so Rand gets his foot (and libertarian power) through the door of the GOP.

I quit listening/watching Hannity years ago.

It was the same ole guests, same ole topics,

3 hours a day, every day.

I did turn on his TV program during one election several years ago. I actually thought they were playing a clip from commentary during a previous election several years earlier. It wasn’t a clip; it was live.

Rand Paul Announces Candidacy on Rachel Maddow Show, Accuses Republicans of "attacking 97 year old grandmas"

Rand is the spitting image of dear old dad. He's playing a role right now. The "Mr. Tea Party" charade is a massive con job.

A Romney/Rand Paul ticket would be an unimaginable disaster.

I hear you.

The same, day after day.

Sean grates on my nerves but there have been times (in the car) when he’s on and I listen and it amazes me that [guess who?] will be up in the next hour......

Rand Paul.

Now Rand is an attack dog against both Rick and Newt. He's a sitting US Senator - he should either stay out of it, or campaign on his father's policies. Rand and his father are a couple of smarmy weasels.

The author is right: that WAS a *bizarre* thing for Rand to say he'd be honored if he were to be considered for the Veep slot on Mitt's ticket. What a weasel and what nerve! He'd be basically a freshman Senator in charge of the Senate. As far as I'm concerned, the Pauls have their own interests at heart, not America's.

I really don’t think Rand will do anything for Romney’s ticket. First of all, whoever runs with Romney will be putting paid to their political career. Mitt won’t win against Obama and you can take that to the bank. Too many people have already dropped out and no longer care. This has been a long and dirty battle and nobody wins.

Libertarians are much more aligned with liberals than with conservatives.

Thanks for the links, which I’ll investigate later. On the face of it, they look like they establish a direct connection betweeen *Rand* and his father’s cronies. So, the problem would be not just old Ron.

I really don’t think Rand will do anything for Romney’s ticket.....

And the GOP-e would hardly cry over Obama 4 more years if they control Congress (they think the electorate will give them the Hill to keep O in check--I say good luck with that hare-brained idea).

And a VP Rand will get TONS of media coverage for future political aspirations.
