“30 years ago” ? That was sure weird math.
The democrats will attack a man converting to Catholicism years ago ? I don’t think that is the way to hold on to Catholics and Hispanics, weird that you call converting a “cheap ploy”, are you anti-Catholic?
Women don’t like Santorum, they kicked him out of his Senate seat with 39%, they knew him extremely well.
As we face with every conservative, all of the money and guns are directed against the conservative, as the GOP-e and the left strive to smother him to keep the fight from becoming a head to head race with the Democrat nominee, where in a head to head race, with equal money, the conservative leader destroys the Democrat.
Gingrich is the only man capable of taking on Obama in a head to head contest, Santorum can’t do it, there is a reason that Santorum saw Mitt Romney as the true conservative, the man to lead America and the conservative movement, Santorum is not a conservative leader, never has been.
There is also a reason that most Santorum voters see Romney as their second choice, rather than the most conservative Gingrich.
Yep, I realized right after I hit post that it was off. Only by a factor of two or so, though.. ;-)

Anti-Catholic? No...
Wary of the motives of politicians? Yes...
"Women dont like Santorum, they kicked him out of his Senate seat with 39%, they knew him extremely well."
There were many factors in that election, certainly not the least was rampant anti-GWB/Republican sentiment. Not a thing to do with the current elections.

I think you're fooling yourself if you think Gingrich would "destroy" 0bama (figuratively, of course lol).

Santorum's lifetime conservative rating is only a couple points behind Gingrich, and his last year in office it was 91. He is in fact one of the more conservative people in government. Again, is he perfect? No. Just the best available.
"There is also a reason that most Santorum voters see Romney as their second choice, rather than the most conservative Gingrich."
Care to provide a source for that assertion? It's also true that if Gingrich were to drop out, the vast majority of his supporters would go to Santorum.
