Pro-Obama PAC Won't Give Back Maher's Money

Current and former White House aides on Thursday rejected demands by a conservative group that a Super PAC supporting President Obama refund a $1 million check from comedian and talk show host Bill Maher because of coarse comments he's made about Sarah Palin and other Republican women.

While Obama earlier this week denounced similar comments that radio talk show host made about a college student, Sandra Fluke, White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters the president is not going to get involved in the Maher battle.

Carney said "language that denigrates women is inappropriate," but it is not the President's place to be the "arbiter" of every controversial statement.

"He chooses to lead by example or tries to," Carney said of the president, adding that "he chooses to try to practice that civility himself and he calls on everybody to do just that."

Only those that fit the narrative of whatever the current George Soros campaign is.

"He chooses to lead by example or tries to,"

It stands to reason that the most phony administration in history has biggest phony in history as a "leader"

Of course not. They play for keeps and don’t appologize. Something the GOP could learn a thing or two about.

...it is not the President's place to be the "arbiter" of every controversial statement.

Isn't that special...and convenient and typical? After dipping into the Rush Limbaugh controversy...

Did Carney make that statement with a straight face?

” - - - Bill Burton, a former White House aide in the early part of the Obama administration who now runs the Super PAC, also said Maher’s comments have been “vulgar and inappropriate”- - - “

Maher has damaged Obama by his “vulgar” words against Conservative Women.

Since Burton kept the Maher money, it is clear what Burton has in his heart for Conservative Women.

BTW, isn’t Maher friends with Conservative Woman Ann Coulter?

Conservatives have been drawn into the same trap over and over...obama bows to Saudi kings, Conservatives bow to liberals.

Despite daily accusations by the media that conservatives are "mean spirited", they're actually the wimpiest bunch on the planet.

The conservative "guilt complex" is still in the same overdrive gear started by civil rights...they go completely overboard to appease. Over-appeasement is very dangerous and totally unecessary.

We should never back off when we're right - which we are most of the time. After the Fluke calamity, someone one the right should have said, "well, if she doesn't want to be called a slut, she should stop acting like a slut.".

But we are all well-aware that journalism school no longer teaches morals or ethics, or fairness, so it would have caused a nationwide tsunami...but then maybe that's what we need. One big blow up and get is all over with.

The right is right, the left is just uptight.
