The Harvard Hug: What Else Are Media Hiding?

Bias: We were wrong. The media elite did in fact vet this president, but they covered up what they found. And now that citizen journalists are digging it up, they're trying to rebury it.

Exhibit A is the controversial video of Barack Obama praising and hugging radical Harvard law professor Derrick Bell. The media knew it existed four years ago and conspired with academia to hide it to get Obama elected.

"We hid this during the 2008 campaign," confessed Harvard law professor Charles Ogletree. PBS had it then, but cut both the audio and the hug in a report on Obama's Harvard days. The footage served as wallpaper. Now that Breitbart.com has put the entire video online, the major media have gone into damage-control mode for Obama.

PBS claims, disingenuously, "there's nothing new about the clip." NBC's Andrea Mitchell misled viewers by claiming Bell was "not a radical firebrand" but a "distinguished professor."

Then, voila, there were two Negros at Harvard, then four, and maybe a dozen, and they met and hugged and lept about.

This is Harvard guys ~ not a normal place, and just about the last institution in America to be desegregated.

Did someone fail to notice that about the time that happened, Harvard's standards had fallen in the basement ~ and they've never recovered.

The Harvard grads of the last 30 years just haven't been up to snuff

This is just as important. People need to understand, especially as we get closer to the election, that the media will lie, distort numbers and hide facts from the public in defense of Obama and his agenda. They need to understand that the media will lie about our candidates as well.

I found that Barack might not be the only Obama on the tapes.

In May 1988, Harvard Law students, borrowing from Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals,
and foreshadowing the Occupy movement of 2011, occupied the Harvard Law
School’s dean’s office. The students were supporting Professor Derrick
Bell’s demand that the law school hire professors on the basis of race.

One of the students “dressed in black” and occupying the dean’s
office appears to be Michelle Obama (Harvard Law ’88). Here is a link

Boeri notes that the students held a rally for their cause this morning. Boeri’s report includes footage of Charles Ogletree (Visiting Professor, Harvard Law School) addressing a rally of students outside of the school. Boeri notes that the sit-in is over for now and that student leaders met with James Vorenberg (Dean, Harvard Law School) to discuss their demands for an increase in minority faculty members. Harvard turned me down at three levels, but I deserved it and I'm not po'd about it, now that I've grown up.

HOWEVER

There is no doubt that the intellectual ability of grads, even HMS grads, is in serious decline.

Now, that's part of a much larger trend, true, but it's also true that the mission John Harvard bequeathed to the New College was, in essence, to run counter to anti-intellectual and anti-social trends, a mission at which the College and associated Schools are now, quite conspicuously, failing.

The important lesson here is just why is there taxpayer funding for PBS? What is the need to subsidize administration propagandists like Charlie Rose with hundreds of millions of dollars yearly in OUR money when there are a zillion cable channels, including those that will put on left-wing zealots/toupee’d kooks like Olbermann whom no one watches? For some reason, I thought the Reps controlled the House, where revenue bills are SUPPOSED to originate. Yet, we see story after story of this propaganda wing of the Dem party called “Public” Broadcasting that uses OUR money and no one puts an end to their feeding at the public trough.
