VIDEO - Beck Talks GOP Race With O’Reilly: ‘It’s Time That It Ends’

It’s time for the GOP presidential race to come to a close, Glenn Beck told Fox News‘ Bill O’Reilly

“I think it’s time that it ends,“ Beck said during an interview broadcast Friday on ”The O’Reilly Factor.“ ”I’m a supporter of Rick Santorum but, you know, I think we’re at the end here, or very near the end. If you do the math, it’s darn near mathematically impossible here — unless we go all the way down to the wire — for anybody but Romney to take it. We have got to come together and start to put together a strategy not only for the White House but also for the Senate and for the House

When Beck first came upon the scene, I had high hopes for him, but he's turned out to be just another hack.

When Romney wasn't getting applause during the debates, he (and Santorum) wanted debates without audiences.

Now that Romney is "leading" in the "polls", his rabid supporters (beck) want the primaries to end (while mitt is on top).

The GOP RINO's lie to us more than the freakin' liberals do.

I thought Beck was a Santo guy??? Oh that’s right, he’s what thousands of posters have said on FR, he’s in disguise as a stealth RomBot.

If its Romney, I just hope conservatives can put up a real fight for the house and senate. I know I want to get rid of Debbie Stabenow at least as badly as I want to get rid of the emperor.

lol

I saw this coming a mile away.

Beck pretends to support someone with no chance besides his fellow Mormon. Then will pretend to give up and accept Romney... when Romney was who he wanted all along.

Beck, you have zero credibility. Go back to planet Kolob.

Beck was always a Mitt guy, he’s a Mormon and he has an R next to his name.

That’s all it took for Beck.

Nevermind that if both Newt and Rick stay in the race until the end, Mitt has no chance at winning outright but instead the matter has to be settled at a convention.

Nevermind Mitt’s EXTREMELY Progressive Record, including:

1. Support for Gay Adoption
2. Support for Gay Marriage
3. Support for Adoption
4. Implemented a Socialist Healthcare Program called RomneyCare replete with $50 abortions and an Individual Mandate.
5. Support for Global Warming
6. Support TARP.
7. Support for the Brady Bill
8. Implemented an Assault Weapons Ban for MA when the Federal Ban was allowed to expire.

THe problem for Beck, you VU4G10, the GOP-E, all the other Mitt Supporters, and Mitt himself, is the slimy, ugly, Left-wing, Extremist Progressive background of Romney.

Romney will get slaughtered in the General election if he is the nominee.

All of the sordid details of his past which have so far not been aired out for everyone to see, will then begin to be brought out after he is the Nominee by Obama and his minions in the MSM.

They can’t wait for this, they are salivating for this opportunity.

They will pound him into the ground with his own record and by the time the General Election comes around, the slaugher of Mitt Romney and the GOP will make 2008 look like a bellweather year for the GOP.

If Romney is unable to get a majority of delegates by June, than perhaps a compromise candidate can be found at the convention. I say that the candidates should avoid taking pot-shots at each other (and Romney is the worst offender of all in that catagory) and othewise let’s see what the process leads to.

I held-out hope for Beck, for a long time, even after he “jumped the shark”. But no more. He’s been in stealth mode, for quite a while, I’m finally realizing.

Here’s 8 more for “S-F-B mittens”:

Lets see...where do I begin with Beck. The first warning shot was when he said the tea party must be racist for voting for Newt. The second warning shot was when he took Perrys book and ripped the foreward out that Newt wrote. The third was when he put up pics of Santorum, Romney and Ron Paul and said “One of these will be our next president. Oh I know. There is one more named Gingrich but why put him in the mix?” Then we had all the hit pieces he put up on the blaze to bash Newt and he brought Romney supporter Ann Coulter on his show to bash Newt. He claims to be great friends with Santorum and to be for him but now he tells Santorum it is time to quit when Santorum is doing great. What a great buddy, ha? He interviewed Sarah Palin and said she is very guarded and he was not sure it should be her for president. He said Romney, Santorum, Bachmann or Ron Paul are ok but Newt is a progressive and he does not like him. Romney is a liberal progressive and he is ok. hmmmm. He has been so gung ho for Israel but it is fine if Ron Paul takes the presidency because he believes in small govt. and we may have an economic crash. He is a strong believer in destroying Newt and yet he brings a lot of religious people on his program to talk about love. I try to glean what I can from his show about Soros, etc..but I have learned something is not quite right here.

”I’m a supporter of Rick Santorum but . . .”

Sure you are, Beck. Sure you are. You’re in the tank for Bishop Romney, and you always have been. Anything else would be unthinkable.

Why, if you didn’t support him in every way possible, he might take away your planet.

"Beck as always is a supporter of Romney."

When I used to lurk here, I would visit the old thread for Beck's Fox show, and I never thought it was possible that Beck would come out for Romney. I thought everyone who predicted it was wrong. Well, I was 100% wrong and they were completely on target, and I have no problem admitting it.

The other day there was an article on the Blaze titled "Is Romney the new Reagan?" LOL....

Apparently most FReepers have reading comprehension issues. If Romney wins the nomination most republicans will back him. I wonder how loudly they’ll screech when their chosen candidates endorse Romney if he wins the nomination? Rush, Sarah Palin, Allen West, Marco Rubio etc will all back Romney. That includes Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum.

Beck is simply expressing a simple fact and despite not liking that fact only a moron can deny it’s existence.
