Why It Is CRITICAL to be With Newt More Than Ever
The Red Side of Life Conservative Musings from New York ^ | 3/20/12 | RedInNewYork

Posted on 03/20/2012 8:30:58 AM PDT by jmstein7

To my friends who are Rick and Mitt supporters – we have already agreed to disagree. Please respect my opinion.

I’m furious. Negative ads, establishment vitriol, media bias, media blackouts – all of these factors have helped push Newt into third place. It is nearly impossible for Newt to win – in the delegate count, but Newt can still win! How, you ask? By making sure that nobody wins in the delegate count! As long as nobody gets the number of delegates needed to secure the nomination on the first ballot, Newt can win. In fact, he would be the most adept at maneuvering at a brokered convention. That is why it is critical that you stay with him and get him to Tampa! Did you know that if nobody has the delegates to win, after the first ballot, all the delegates are released – that is, they are no longer bound to any candidate. It’s the “reset” button, and the winner thereafter is the most persuasive candidate. We all know who that is. Just think about who you would vote for after hearing speeches from Mitt, Rick, and Newt. Exactly!

I do not want Romney to win – that is a personal choice. I’m sure many of you – the audience for this article, feel the same way. Polls show that if Newt lacks the enthusiasm and funds to move forward to all the states where he can pick up delegates, half of those delegates will go to Mitt. That is a dangerous proposition. To stop Mitt, and nominate Newt, we must go all the way to Tampa.

Ignore the media, ignore the pundits – those who say that Newt is just in it to stop Romney. That is only half the story (although it is important) . Newt would not still be putting in all this time and effort into his campaign if he didn’t think he could win. He knows what to do – and he needs you more than ever.

Be like Newt – an unstoppable force! Get mad, get excited, whatever it takes! Double your efforts to get the word out! Contribute at Newt.Org to make sure he has the resources to go forward. All we have to do to win is get to Tampa, and we’re more than half way there! You’ve come this far, and we’re in the final stretch - now, go for it!

There is nothing I’d like to see more than a debate between Newt and Obama. I think that Newt would be one of the most important Presidents of the century. But....I also think that the establishment in Washington is scared to death of him.

The Washington establishment doesn’t want to upset the applecart.

Don’t forget, they’re not there because they love this country — they’re there because they love themselves.

Obama cannot think on his feet to any respectable and reasonable level. Thus, I predict the Rats will do all they can to prevent Odumbo from participating in a televised debate. They will contrive some other means that enables a forum or a panel that can pick up the dead air that Odumbo would introduce for failing to respond timely or “clarify” what he intended to say after inserting foot in mouth.

Same here. How about Mark Levin as moderator?

I am with you and Newt 100 percent. Why? Because Newt wants to remove the chains that we citizens have on us, to allow us to speak about our new ideas. Here in New York State, the state government which is controlled by the public unions both municipal and teachers unions. These unions get unbridled raises, benefits and pensions and they are destroying our cities, towns and school districts. Newt is about diminishing the power of unions, civil service schemes and public school monopolies. I am working for Newt, since I know my children’s future depends on his election!!!

You need to give it up. Newt is history and is staying in it for future financial rewards.

In a few months, Newt will return to his former FR status as a RINO. Right back where he was 6 months ago.

Sgt.Hooper You may be right about Obama will never debate anybody. He won't go into a battle he knows he can't win. Instead he will only participate in controlled events that can be staged and edited. Remember Newt said he would follow Obama around where ever he has campaigned and counter his lies.
If God isn't too pissed at America, Newt will win at the convention.

We are also old retired Army. We are 100% for Newt. Isn’t it funny how we can view a man so differently.

To be honest, for a guy that claims the conservative mantle, he sure doesn’t bother to fight it out in the States. Just going where you think they might like you is no way to win or carry the message.

Any touch he had a fighter must have got up and left. I figure he stays in for attention only. He knows he has no path to win.

It is sad to see Newt supporters become more and more delusional. Newt is not going to win the nomination and, further, he doesn’t deserve to win the nomination.

At best, Newt can be the kingmaker at a brokered convention by tossing his delegates to Santorum or Romney, thereby giving them enough to win. He can get a plum government job with his support.

Keeping a conservative from getting enough delegates to win so the establishment can install a RINO candidate for the general election isn’t rational. There is no way that Newt is getting the nomination in a brokered convention. They will give us someone far worse than Santorum who’s already not perfect.

” Newt is history and is staying in it for future financial rewards. “ -—

You better believe that history is Newt, and proudly so. You bet he is history, and a fine one it is sir.

You know, Newt didn’t have to get in this thing at all. He was comfortable, has an estimated worth of 6 million, was writing, doing a documentary on the Pope, traveling to Rome, consulting domestically and occasionally funding one of his think tanks.

Future financial rewards will be much slimmer under communism, so it’s best to boost ole Santorum the RINO. Isn’t he just the deal to stop communism?

LAUGH OUT LOUD!

Nice. Laura Ingram can keep time and suggest follow-up questions.

Newt would thrive on the no favoritism, "no-BS" debate environment.

On the other hand, little bammy will drown in his own BS.

Then, put the resulting video on DVD and sell it for two bucks.

There would never be an example of the difference between Republican and Democrat to exceed it for absolute clarity.

I don’t know why you included me with these other 2 anti Newt guys. I absolutely love Newt Gingrich. I have been sending out a couple thousand emails every day trying to get people to see that Newt is our only hope.
I’ll never give up on him. I have followed him since the 90’s and I know what he can accomplish.

Thank you for your post. I am ALL IN, ALL the way. This is no longer our country that we grew up in, says Rush.

Newtsters are in for the haul—all the way to the convention.

What Newt is not doing is now because evidently the backer is on the wing and has no money to buy a venue for his voice.

Newt is the one-and-only bad boy up for the job ahead, and he will be the Old Man and the Sea, leading us out of this whether in office, or out, by book or by appearance.

IF we can get him to convention, it will be most interesting what he will drop on the American people, because I believe he knows what’s coming. He will support whom he is forced to support, just like us, but given that the USA is quite done without him as president, nothing will else will change the course of events. Communists have institutionalized the nation already in Marxism.

I like the peace Newt radiates. He is personally quite reconciled I believe, and that makes for a contentment no one can take away from him, or us.
