Marco Rubio endorses Mitt Romney (RINO Spring migration continues)
TPM Livewire ^ | 09:33 PM EST 03/28/2012 | Sara Libby

Posted on 03/28/2012 6:45:52 PM PDT by Josh Painter

Florida Sen. Marco Rubio endorsed Mitt Romney for president Tuesday night on Sean Hannity's show on Fox News.

"I am gonna endorse Mitt Romney. He offers such a start contrast to the president's record," the senator said.

"I have zero doubt in my mind: No. 1 that he will govern as a conservative, and No. 2 that he will be head and shoulders above the president in the White House right now."

On rumors he's on the short list to be vice president, Rubio said,"I don't believe I'm going to be asked ... that's not what I want."

Ditto. I just can’t deal with this on here much longer. I see Freepers(or they say they are Freepers) saying they will vote for Hussein. It may be time for me to take a leave of absence until after the elections. I wanted Sarah desperately. She chose not to run. Then I was torn between Cain and Newt. Cain dropped out. I would have been fine with Perry too, he self destructed so I voted for the brilliant one, the one that would rip Soetoro to shreds in the debates, and the one with a proven record, Newt.

I did my part. I supported Sarah for years, voted for Newt when she chose not to run. My job now is to make sure Hussein the Kenyan Marxist is defeated and that is what I intend to do. It doesn’t mean I like Mittens, I don’t but I hate Hussein with every fiber of my being and he has to GO!!!! No more SCOTUS picks for the Marxist in chief. No more czars. No more secret deals with Vladamir. I could go on forever. He has to GO!

That is all except to say it’s been a really windy March in South Florida hasn’t it?

Frankly, I would like to see Marco Rubio as VP just to shut up some of the silly Birther BS.
If you were born on US Soil, subject to the jurisdiction of the United States (not an illegal) then you are a Natural Born Citizen.
PERIOD!
Not a single judge, not a single elected official, anywhere in the country, disagrees with me on that point.

If you don’t quit crying in your beer, you’ll find America has died on the vine. “oh my favorite conservative candidate didn’t win, so I don’t care whether Obama destroys the country......wha, wha, wha,....”

Great post had to be repeated. Hard to imagine so many here compare Romney to the Dear Leader. Lots of sore loser thumb suckers here I guess.

Romney can get all the endorsements that he wants, but he still can’t convince me that the cesspool of his record doesn’t stink. I will not vote for him.

Great. Then the Obama cesspool continues unchecked.

I hope you forgive me if I don't thank you for helping Zero and screwing the rest of us so you can feel soooo good.

In all fairness, I supported Pawlenty, then Perry and finally I voted for Romney.. By the time the Illinois primary came around Newt was floundering and Rick was just talking about social issues, I voted for Mitt.

Let’s be realistic about something:

Romney’s campaign machine is powerful. There’s no question, he’s run this thing ... ruthlessly.

I’m angry about that. I believe Romney intentionally sabotaged Palin in 2008, and is the reason Obama is president now.

I despise the guy. But let’s be honest: He’s run a very effective and powerful campaign so far.

If he can run this way against Obama, he very well might pulverize Obama in the general election.

Something to start considering.

Will Willard be as ruthless and effective, against Obama?

If he can repeat what he’s been doing, against the dems;

Then against every emotion, every desire to see the guy fail.

I’ll support him, if he’s who we’re stuck with.

And I’ll not be surprized at all, if he wins the election.

Which bottom line, would be a massive improvement over what we’ve got now.

If Gingrich and Santorum have what it takes to stop this momentum we’re watching, they better get it together.

Soon.

A parody, written to the tune of "Rhinestone Cowboy" with apologies to Glen Campbell and Larry Weiss. I know it's bad, but I had to do it. ;-)
RINO Nightmare

I've been votin' for Repubs so long
singin' the same old song
I know every political hack here in D.C.
where hustle's the name of the game
and nice guys get washed away like the snow and the rain

There's been a load of compromisin'
on the road to my horizon
but I'm not gonna vote for the one anointed by the R N C

It's a RINO nightmare
ridin' in on a wave started by that jerk named Karl Rove

It's a RINO nightmare
getting threats and bad stuff from people I don't even know
and Push Polls comin' over the phone...

Great thread. There are a whole bunch of people with 2004 sign-on dates who are suddenly supporting Mittens, and someone actually has the gall to have a “I support Mitt” tagline.

No Romney. Ever. And I’m NOT changing my mind.

Don't like it but Romney will be the pick and I will vote for him.

People like you are the reason the Founders didn't put a right to vote in the Constitution.

“You obviously have no knowledge of the man whatsoever.”

***

I guess you’re right. And that goes for others who have endorsed Romney and are willing to betray their principles for sine personal gain.

I’m just about done with the Republican party. Think I’ll change my registration to independent.

Total 100% nonsense. How the hell do you speak about a conservative future when at the same time endorse a RINO? Radical homosexual agenda including marriage (check for Romney), global warming advocate (check for Romney), cap & trade (check for Romney), supporter of Roe v. Wade (check for Romney), opposed Bush tax cuts (check for Romney), strict gun control (check for Romney), and it goes on and on. So I suppose by conservative you mean abandonment of principles or maybe you think government mandates are great.

That will be quite hilarious, and I think you will see this come to pass since Rubio is very likely to be the VP pick (despite what he says now).

Can you imagine it? We've got birthers here who think Romney isn't eligible as well. Based on what these people say right now, the entire GOP ticket will be ineligible. LOL. And since I don't like Romney and am not excited about another squish at the top of the ticket, the one redeeming thing will be watching birther heads explode if it ends up that we run not just 1, but 2 people the birthers think aren't eligible.

Best post on here so far Joe!

Many just like you I am sure.

From my standpoint I can't even fathom not going up against the regime even if my first 5 or 6 choices all lost. I too was an avid Palin fan but you don't get your way every time. Killing off Rinos and marxists dems does not happen over night!

IT does not work to pick up your marbles and go home every time your guy does not win. All that does is give aid and comfort to the enemy in this case a marxist muslim, about as bad as it gets politically for the country.

I am sure that you could fill the men's room, on any highway rest stop, with all the people in the country that think exactly like you.
You are on the fringe, and you're are destructive to the conservative cause.

But Romney SAID he would govern as a conservative!

I’ve noticed that Mitt supporters always point to his flip-flopping rhetoric as opposed to his actual record in their support; or they will say he is better than Obama. While that may be true it does not say much since even Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy had more conservative voting records than Obama.
