Incorrect. A Supreme Court Justices duty is to uphold the piece of parchment (the Constitution).
It is not about justice or fairness. Not your job. Does a question/law etc comply with the US Constituion or not. Nothing more nothing less.......
Even more appalling is Ruth Ginsberg, who has voiced open disdain for the constitution she has sworn to uphold. Talk about someone who should be yanked from the court!

How can you be an activist Supreme Court Judge if you recuse yourself ??? There are three other judges just as corrupt as Kagan . When deciding a case rarely will Breyer , Sotomayor , Ginsberg or Kagan decide based on the merits of our constitution . They should all be impeached based on their reluctance to follow the Constitutions outline . Good luck with that . The Federal Govt. is every bit as corrupt as Chicago’s thugs and worse IMO .
