Right f’n on. If Mitt gets the nod, I’ll work like hell to help him get elected. So, apparently, will Sarah Palin.

Well, I certainly understand your position and sentiments but if Obama wins a second term, future elections will, for certain, mean nothing because this republic will be finished, FOREVER. So there will be no GOP to hurt and there will be full tyranny. The evilness of despotism wants you to not vote. Don’t try to kid yourself that we as a republic will be able to recover after a second Obama term but I’m pretty sure I’m wasting my energy trying to convince you of the error of not voting for Romney if he is the nominee and likely he will be. If the people who refused to vote for McCain had voted, we would not be having this issue now. I did not want McCain nor do I want Romney but when I voted for McCain I knew what we would get with Obama would be worse - much worse.

If those people are that worried about taking votes away from Obama, maybe they should do some soul searching and join the other team.

The GOP has been moderated into a coma, why not try moderating the party that actually needs it for once.

I’ll probably get out and vote for someone with an R to go to Congress- with redistricting I’d like to see what district I wound up int. As far as the Presidential race, well, nothing to choose unless the Libertarians or Constitution Party gets on the ballot somehow. But I’m not going to vote for a gun-grabbing liberal socialist, whether his name is Obama or Romney.

The cry babies and holier than thou types on this site are pieces of trash if they stay home and they give us Obama again.

If I get banned for that fine, but that is how I feel. these sp called adults act like toddlers and babies in TJE aisle of the supermarket melting down if their mother does not buy them a lollipop if their dream boat is not elected.

Am for Ron Paul in the NY Primary, but if it’s mittens or who ever, I will do almost anything to get the communist street marxist out of office.

Unless you want to strike out into the third party wilderness. Be my guest, if that's your point.

Romney is "the wilderness"...

Let's say a 3rd-party candidate gets 13%...
>..Romney gets 32%...
...and Obama gets 46%...
...& minority-party candidates split the rest...
...then you 32-percenters have not only wasted your vote [voting for a guy who didn't have a chance to win -- getting less than 1/3rd of the country's vote]...
...but seared your conscience forever...
...you've permanently lost ANY ground upon which to criticize ANY big-government/socialized boondoggle...having supported a big-govt socialist boondoggle candidate yourself...
...and pro-lifers voting for Romney have permanently lost ANY ground to critique other pro-abortion candidates...

Me neither. Sorry, i have principles. I could never vote for Romney.

So you'd rather return a true Communist to the White House. Dear, that's not "principles", that's a tantrum.

I take it you would rather sell your soul to obama and his czars.

Remember that the next elected President will appoint 2-3 Judges on the Supreme Court.

If they are insane enough to continue to force this liberal pos down our throats... I will write in Palin’s name and vote for every Conservative on the ballot.

I wish either Rick or Newt would drop out and give the other his delegates.

I can't believe this guy (Romney) is even running! What's he doing it for? Just to keep a conservative from winning a major party nomination?

Bingo. The idea that it. Is ok to give this communist tyrant a second term out of petulance over not getting some mythical 10 10 candidate is madness!

we were able defeat bush on some things, and the same is possible w myth, who I hate!

however, a second term of Obama may possibly bring a civil war.

I'm staying back here to try to unseat the Usurper

Sorry.

A party that nominates the likes of MYTH ROMNEY needs to be exterminated.

Let the communists own the collapse.

It doesn't look like the GOP primary voters want the most conservative candidate. Perhaps the GOP primary voters don't think a more conservative candidate can take moderate, much less liberal, votes away from Obama.

How many of these GOP primary voters were Democrats?

Is it too much to ask for some honesty and logic from commentators on our side of the ball? Romney is going to win the nomination. There are no if’s, and’s or but’s about it.

I’ll vote for Romney over Obama and I won’t tell one lie to do it. Romney is not my type of guy but he is orders of magnitude better than Obama.

Look at the damage LBJ did in one term. Look at the damage Obama has wrought in this term. Then imagine a second term with no re-election campaign to temper his marxist id.

Do what you must but do it with open eyes. My eyes tell me the Prince has to go.

Well, I certainly understand your position and sentiments but if Obama wins a second term, future elections will, for certain, mean nothing because this republic will be finished, FOREVER. So there will be no GOP to hurt and there will be full tyranny

Right now, the GoP has 29% of the pie of registered voters...

Once Romney loses, it won't surprise me...come 2013...for the GoP to have less than 20% of the pie of registered voters...

(Hey...why stay with a party to the left of 1960s democrats?...I'll walk...and I'll encourages millions of other Repubs to walk)

They'll be no GoP to hurt, either way...because the GoP establishment is bent upon provoking a further fracture -- and then it'll go the way of the Whigs. Extinct.

I'm not voting for a socialist (Mitt Romney)...
I'm not voting for a pro-abort (Mitt Romney)...
I'm not voting for somebody with a track record of electing liberal judges (Mitt Romney)...
I'm not voting for somebody reflexively racist for at least the first 13 years of his adult life...
...And you could give me the otherwise perfect candidate -- a "10" in every conservative category -- but if they think they are a "god in embryo" on their way to becoming a full-grown-up "god" bent upon theft of God's glory, His worship, and His prayers by setting up a rival "god-shop," count me out of sanctioning & endorsing outright idolatry.

I don't vote for "gods" -- no matter what uniform stripe they wear.

It could be the end of the Republican party as we know it.
