Do you want 0bama for another 4 years????? Really?????

Wow, how could you possibly glean that from my comment?

If Romney is the nominee, obama gets his re election. We could not have a worse candidate, jmo.

I have no idea what you are rambling about. I have never been for Santorum. I donated to Palin, Cain, and Gingrich in that order. I am glad Santorum is gone. He should have left a long time ago. But I don’t hate him. You have enough hatred to be a member of the New Black KKK. You can keep it.

Yep, I agree..

Thanks so much Santurom for giving us Romney!

Because his little girl was sick he is dropping out... hmmm
I feel for that precious little girl but IF he really was leaving because of his sick little girl, why not in Florida???

I think a set up is more like it. We were set up for Romney.
He was for Romney from the beginning. He stayed in to force Newt out. He waited until Newt said something about not making it and then Wham! He gets out.

Angry about this as I can be.

McCain was at least pro-life and a war hero. But I didn’t vote for him, I voted for Sarah. I will not pull the lever for the abortionist/socialist big government RINO Romney. And I don’t care who he selects as a running mate. Never again.

FUMTR!! FUGOP!!

So he drops out now, after he’s screwed Newt’s chances of beating Romney. What a jerk.

Gee... so Santorum has FAR more delegates than Newt and it is Santorum who is the jerk who "screwed Newt"?

I'm not so sure it is Santorum who is the jerk in your post...

Santorum knew before he even decided to run that he had a critically ill daughter. The first time he suspended campaign because she was in the hospital I wondered what the heck would happen if he were president and that proverbial 3am phone call came at the same time. God Bless him, Bella and the rest of his family, but a child that sick is too much of a distraction. And she should be! All that time wasted, all the money, all the effort could have gone to help another candidate. It’s incredibly sad. And disappointing. This whole season has been. Well, onward. The most important thing is getting 0bama out or we won’t have a country left to save.

I am very sad that we are now STUCK w/Willard.

In his speech, Rick SUSPENDED his campaign...I take that to mean he IS NOT releasing his delegates. He also did NOT endorse or even mention Myth by name.

Maybe there is something behind the scenes...Obamaney CANNOT Etch-a-Sketch his way to the middle. The only way to save the Country is for the Bishop to be FORCED to stay right. Maybe that is what Newt and Rick will be doing.

I am equally as saddened by the hate...on a conservative site...for a conservative like Santorum. It’s shameful.

I don’t want Obama for another 4 years but Romney is going to lose.

Actually it is the GOP's race to lose if they make the elections a referendum on Obama and his policies. Do the American people really want four more years of Obama? Are they still believers in hope and change or does the reality of massive debt, high unemployment, skyrocketing gas prices, socialist healthcare, etc. determine which way they will vote.

No Rep could have beat Obama in 2008 and certainly McCain was the worst possible candidate. Everyone seems to forget what happened in the 2010 midterms, one of the most historic in our history. The Dems were routed at the federal, state, and local levels. Do the 2010 midterms portend what happens in 2012 similar to the 2006 midterms that brought the Dems back into control of Congress?

Predictions of a GOP loss in 2012 are much too premature and more than likely, wrong. And this is without the growing economic doom in Europe, China's hard landing, and tensions in the Middle East and on the Korean peninsula. And then there are the SCOTUS decisions on Obamacare and AZ 1070 due in June.

If Romney has all the political attributes of a Presidential loser, Obama has the record and problems of a Presidential loser--bigtime.

That last line was kinda personal, dude.

The issue is Santorum should have dropped out early. Everyone knew it and asked him, but no he had to go only his holier than thou campaign.

Frankly, given is political history, I think he’s a paid spoiler for Romney.

.....and, I could give a hoot in hell what you think of me.

Is that the best you got? Resorting to name calling right off the bat?

I'm sorry I'm not a Romney apologist. He is a terrible candidate and will do more harm than good.

I wear your critisism as a badge of honor.

I don’t disagree - the SCOTUS is really what we are fighting for, aren’t we?

Yep its all over twitter, Santorum is dropping out of the presidential race..sucks, dont know why he is choosing now to do so

He faced the very real possibility of losing his home state in two weeks. That would pretty much put an end to his political career.

His next move should be to hand over his delegates to Newt and put all he has behind him. Maybe even announce a vice-presidency interest under Newt. That way the conservatives will have more muscle to take down mittens.

agreed 100%, I said it looked like something was going on back then and now this.

utter crap, wonder what position he will be given if the RINO wins and we’re supposed to ignore the attacks on Newt, ignore how he ignored the base and ignore his liberal positions because the establishment wants us too

no frigging way

agreed

There is no way though I will ever forget the attacks the establishment, FOX, Drudge, Coulter did on Newt .

Funny how they did not try and force Rick out after he never won one county in NH, then SC , then FL and that is when his daughter was sick ion hospital then.

Now we’ll see where Rick goes and hopefully he proves me wrong by going to Newt but if he goes to Romney then it would show what many on here have been saying why Rick stayed in.
Even when it showed he had no chance and was takijng votes away from Newt after SC

I don’t see where Rick S goes from here polically. It’s too late to run for Senate again. No obvious office for him to run for on the horizon with the other Senate seat and Governorship in GOP hands.

Slick’s cabinet seems like the only thing, if he wants that.

Oh I forgot one possibilty, President 2016 if Baraq wins.

Since obviously Republicans love nominating people who have run before and lost.

Romney, McCain, Dole, Bush SR., Reagan, Nixon, Dewey. All of them either lost a previous general election (Nixon) or failed to get the nomination in a previous election or both (Dewey).
