That equals 1.5 Trillion. Who has money like that to give away? Yes, Uh, NO!

I haven’t looked up the numbers, but what do we spend each year now on medicare, medicaid, Social security, welfare, food stamps, housing, etc at the federal and local levels? I bet it’s more than that.

Actually I just did a quick search and found this...

So it looks like just at the federal level in 2011 we spent more than that (900bills for HHS and another $800bills for SS).
