Heh - laughed, and stopped, at the bit where 15% of the investigated group was FBI operatives. That’s not infiltration, that’s approaching takeover.

(Can I still say china shop? Is that racist?)

That is still OK as far as I know. However, "chink in the armor" has recently been thrown out for a lack of diversity.

Apparently the #EFAD campaign worked. Congrats Matt. Hope the entire trilogy is on the million seller list by June.

He’s mentioned the Turner Diaries 25 times on his blog between 2004 and 2010.

Seems obsessed. Hopefully not in the same vein as was a famous obsession with Helter Skelter.

I'll bet in his past he's been a Double Naught Spy, just like Jethro.

I wish I was fishing this weekend.

I’m sure he’ll read your tagline when he’s entering us all into his DNSIWDTDB.

"Didn’t they drum into our heads to assault through an ambush?"

A near ambush, yes. For far ambush: lift, shift, flank, or something else that would work given scenario, terrain, etc.

Near ambush: run through as fast as possible while firing.

"See, I got them racists all figured out. That's why I'm a Double Naught Spy."

1) Did you set out to do a political book in the form of a novel, or did you set out to write a novel that simply has political elements?

2) Did you consciously set out to write something that would be a non-racist or at least less racial alternative to The Turner Diaries as a text for the Patriot movement?

3) Would you describe yourself as part of the Patriot movement or as part of some other political wave?

4) Do you feel that the Patriot movement has historically had a racist component? Do you think it needs to change in this respect? If so, why?

Thanks for considering this request.

It must have been painful for him to read 1,700 words about defending the Constitution, just to strain out a dozen pages of racial conflict, to fit the trilogy into his template.

...Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction...

In case anyone's forgotten, the entire civilized world agreed in the late 1990's that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. Also, Saddam Hussein proved he had WMD; he was accused of having them, he was tried for using them, he was convicted of using them, and, in the end, he was hanged for using them.

...Democratic president can be dragged into impeachment for sexual misdemeanors ...

Ummm, no. He was dragged into impeachment for perjury, and had his law license suspended for it.

Make that 1,700 pages, not words, in the trilogy.

(1,700 words is a pretty good effort for a “journalist,” though.)

You would think he would have started his research there.

I looked over his stuff on his web site, and made a connection I had not made earlier.

This was found on links there to Fox reports, and one of them mentioned that Anwar Nasser Alaqi was a speaker at a "Justice for Imam Jamil al-Amin" rally at 5:30 PM on Sept 9, 2001 at the Bren Events Center at UC Ervine.

I know of the Imam by a different name: H. 'Rap' Brown, a fellow who was intimately involved in inciting the riots which burned large portions of Cambridge MD back when. One of the students at my High School was busted by the FBI for running with that crowd.

Now here, in plain sight, is the connection between the Black Panthers, through a former leader with Al Qaida.

Add in jailhouse Islam, and the circle gets tighter.

Hiding in plain sight, deflecting query with cries of 'racism', we have a connection between two terrorist groups.
