How is anything mentioned in that article going to change after you vote one way or another? The rate may go up or down but neither party is advocating any change in the tax system. Sure, you get a few people talking about things like the Fair Tax or 9-9-9 but those are, for the most part, pipe dreams. Both parties use the tax system to curry favor and maintain power, so all we get to talk about is how we get screwed not if.
