Then explain the millions upon millions of Mormon dollars “voluntarily” donated to fight same-sex marriage in California. You can’t tell me Milt wasn’t hip-deep in that activity. Nothing has happened since the 1980’s within the LDS without Milt’s say-so. Or is he that two-faced?

It looks like Mormons weighed in on both sides of the issue. Are they by any means immune to the same kinds of struggles that felled the orthodox Christian mainlines? I don’t think so. And Mitt appears to be, sadly, on the libertine side of it.

2DV,
He did the exact same thing on Gay Marriage in MA. He stated all along sanctimoniously how he believed marriage was between a Man and a Women, he stated how wrong the Supreme Court was to issue the order they did and he was warned by many, many conservatives that what the Supreme Court was doing was unconsitutional, and therefore illegal.
And yet, as usual, Mitt implements Gay Marriage based on an illegal, unconstitutional timeline-driven order by the MA SC.
The Consitution of MA declares that all laws concerning marriage were to be instituted out of the Legislature, Mitt knew this, his words not withstanding, so no ruling by the SC that would create a new law, which is what Mitt allowed them to do, is legal or constitutional.
This is classic Mitt, pretend you are the good guy, and then implement a Progressive Liberal policy.
