Some days are bloodier than others in Mexico.
Yesterday in the border city of Nuevo Lardo -- just across the Rio Grande from Laredo, TX -- police found nine bodies hanging from an overpass and another fourteen decapitated bodies nearby as reported by The Associated Press: "the city . . . has recently been torn by a renewed turf war between the Zetas cartel, a gang of former Mexican special-forces soldiers, and the powerful Sinaloa cartel, which has joined forces with the Gulf cartel, former allies of the Zetas."
Los Zetas apparently has taken responsibility for yesterday's carnage as reported by Dudley Althaus and Dane Schiller for the Houston Chronicle:
"This is how I am going to finish off all the fools you send to heat up the plaza," read a banner on the overpass addressed to the Gulf cartel, which is waging war with the Zetas gang that controls the city. "We'll see you around, you bunch of parasites."
Of course, it really doesn't matter who is responsible for the violence and nobody really even cares about the bloodshed. The important thing is that degenerate Americans continue to get their party favors, and for that we can thank dirty cops and politicians on both sides of the border and President Barack Obama's open border policy.
Few jobs in the United States but plenty of drugs. Is America a great country or what?

The “War on drugs” has been going on for how long with such results? Why do Americans have so much trouble changing failed policies in the modern age. It wasn’t always that way.

Despite the focus on the president how many CongressWeasels are equally at fault? It’s going to take a lot of rope and lamp posts (535) to change this.

THE P.R.I. politicos used to make deals with the cartels for ‘franchises’. When the heat from the US would intensify, they’d give up their ‘franchisee’ and after all the publicity about getting tough on drugs died down a new franchise would be awarded.
If the PRI gets back into power, expect the old ways to return. Might be more peaceful down there.
Perhaps our nation would be better served by placing troops in Mexico rather than the arm pit of the earth...Afghanistan
