Michelle Malkin spoke at Right Online this morning on the huge impact of Twitter and how effective it has been and will be in this election.

In other words, Michelle is hyping her relatively new Twitchy enterprise.
I don't:

1) fearful of being alone, thus alone with their thoughts or prayerful meditation, and
2) are so programmed by the immediate feedback effect of TV and gaming that they cannot disconnect enough to actually discover who or what they are, they need the input of others in a constant stream to define themselves.
I haven't yet decided if this is entirely a bad thing, but it certainly makes these constant communicators more vulnerable to well designed programming like the demonspawn democrats use to herd their constituencies.
Anecdotal: I went into a public restroom the other day and was amused to observe two occupants doing their business while trying to maintain a conversation via typepad. It reminded me of when my ex would 'take me to the bathroom with her' when I called home to check in while traveling. I'm not sure this is a good thing, in the long run. I keep my cell phone int he vehicles now because I just don't want to be that accessible 24/7 to anyone who wants my attention.

That’s fine.
But we can’t ignore those media and campaign like it’s 1980.
The libs use technology “liberally”
She talks about the impact of social media (i doubt you watched the video)and mentions freerepublic you no the site you are now posting your comments on and the effects of it I know it’s scary to enter the world but your there and don’t know it by using this format.
I must admit, though, that during the Walker recall (and especially on electon day) I found Twitter to be extremely helpful. By following just a few people's tweets and re-tweets I received an enormous amount of useful information as it was happening.
There was absolutely no need to turn to the spinmeisters on the newscasts for their twisted garbage. I did this all online - I have no account myself, so I guess that makes me a Twitter lurker.
HOORAY Michelle!
(sniff) Dat's beau-i-ful (sniff)

“Tweet truth to power” ... great rallying call! The left tried to take control of ‘the new media’ and the right has just pounded (#ed) right onto them and taken back this new networking media. That’s ‘keeping up the good fight’. I’m thankful to God that there are still people willing to do it!
I am honored. True, I stumbled into it sideways while walking backward. Perhaps it was the ale.
If the thoughts that get tweeted are inane, then they doesn't matter. Ovoid having people who tweet inanities on the list of people you follow.
If the thoughts are wise, then it does. Twitter allows you to follow particular people who you think are worth hearing from.
A master-user of twitter would be someone who is able to express the heart of an idea with extreme conciseness. The size limit forces the person with something to say to figure out the best way to express it succinctly.
Here is another one I quoted:
And, therefore, isn't Jim (Robinson) the original Blog Father? - FReeper Aevery_Freeman

"...And I mentioned the FreeRepublic.com. Before there were conservative activists and people with video cameras going in to the Occupy camps--and we got those great documentaries yesterday--there were Free Republic activists who waged war on the precursors to Occupy. The Code Pinkos and the ANSWER mob. And they are of course all of a piece. These are all the George Soros funded monkeys that I was talking about last night..."
Michelle was talking about the pioneers of online conservatism. She mentioned Matt Drudge, Andrew Breitbart, Powerline, Glenn Reynolds, Lucianne Goldberg and her son Jonah in addition to Free Republic.
