Epic Photo: Obama Campaign Offices Above Closing Business

Obama wants us all to feed into his collectivist nonsense regarding personal achievement, but what about the negative impact government has on us?

Behold the results of Obamanomics.

In Portland, Maine, President Obama's re-election headquarters is on the second floor of a two story brick building. The first floor is home to a mattress and flooring store.

But not for long.

This speaks more than a thousand words. Obama, above it all, while the businessman loses everything.

I’d prefer the upstairs office closed - permanently.

Hey Obama, take note: this is what “Speaking Truth to Power” really is.

Hah! Complete with the 21st century’s version of a 1930’s “sandwich sign” walker!

Can you say, a propos?

Forest Ave. is and has been the prime location for auto dealerships in Portland.

The warehouse at Oakhurst Dairy used to be the Henley-Kimball dealership. They used to drive the cars up a ramp to the second floor. What brand they represented is lost to my memory.

There was a flooring store up the road here that had been open since 1930. Survived the depression, WW II, downturns, recessions and deep-pile shag. Did not survive year one of the Obama Administration.

Nothing’s safe anymore. Business overhead is way too high, and very few things can be cut. The folks aren’t spending.

Almost across the street was Maine Motors. Land Rover (the real ones) and, I think, Peugeot.
