Karl Rove is not always right either. But I can’t see the people of MO giving Akin a fair shake after misspeaking. They would if it were a Democrat though.
CNN is reporting that Akin is meeting with conservative leaders in Tampa to access his campaign.
Maybe so, but Akin is what he is, and all that’s really up in the air here is how many more days of distraction we have to put up with before he falls on his sword.
Nothing about politics is “fair”, and when you know the media is out to get you, you have to trod extra carefully. Instead, Akin stepped in a big gooey pile of it.
I remember Rove saying the same thing about Christine McDonnell in 2010, and everyone said he was wrong.
Rove knows what he is talking about .
The only public person defending Akin is Mike Huckabee, who helped get him the nomination in the first place.
