I will hire a new employee when Mitt Romney is sworn in as President
im41 blog ^ | August 25, 2012 | BC

Russell Nevins – I am Chief of Surgery at one of the largest hospitals in Las Vegas and lucky enough to be a small business owner. I am by no means independently wealthy, nor have any desire to pad a Swiss bank account on the back of anyone, even “the middle class”.

The introduction is based on a letter I sent to Bill O’Reilly. This explains the purpose of this web site.

I believe I can help Romney get elected. I call it the “Nevins Small Business Pledge”. I, as a small business owner, am pledging to create a new job the day Romney swears in. I can do this from my taxes I won’t have to pay if Obama is elected again.

I believe we can get 100,000 plus other small businesses to do the same in the next 60 days.

My website to make the same pledge is up and can now be seen but won’t be running until Monday or Tuesday.

Please, Please help me make this proactive way of showing liberals that trickle-down economics works. In addition, 100,000 plus new private sector jobs may sway undecided independents. Please see my website (google won’t be able to get you there until it is running) Thank you! — http://nevinssmallbusinesspledge.com

Free Republic has had most of its members following the sheep herder GOPe,

Oh'..what a bunch of utter BS..and frankly I am tired of that meme...

Just because I plan to vote for Romney doesn't mean I am a sheep lead around by the nose by the GOPe...

I guess I could cast my vote for someone who has no chance of winning...that's a brilliant plan / s

I know it's hardly news but Romney won...for better or for worse...

His pick of Ryan sure makes it less noxious to vote for Romney...

Am I a sheep ?...KMA if you think so...

Charlotte has a good idea. Can this be posted under activism and kept there for a while?

If done right (in a non-threatening way), this could be a great line of advertising for Romney. Something like:

“We all had high hopes when President Obama was elected. He was ready to kick-start the economy - but things didn’t go as well as hoped. Now, with the new healthcare law, and the many other rules coming out of Washington, I’m just not sure what’s next. That’s why I’m waiting for Mitt Romney to take office before I do any hiring. I know Mitt may not be perfect, but he will be thinking of me, and millions like me, as he makes decisions in the White House. And that’s good enough for this business owner.”

It is just incredulous to me that a fantastic site like Free Republic has had most of its members following the sheep herder GOPe

One of the few things I hate about FR, is the claim frequently made by many, that anyone who disagrees with them is part of a "herd" or a "bot". I find that intellectually dishonest, insulting, and rude.

You are in error in this case. The vast majority of us on FR would have chosen someone else as the flag bearer, but at this point, we have no practical choice but to hope for the best, with what we've got. You should engage your obsession with sheep more discreetly elsewhere.

Well, the replies to my post have proven my point. There will never be a CONSERVATIVE party when you guys are all willing to do whatever the GOPe tells you to do. I never thought the majority here on FR would ever fall for that. I actually believed what people were saying during the primaries when they were telling the truth about Romney. Silly me. Well enjoy your RINO, you deserve it. After the election you’ll be spouting off again about needing conservative leadership but at least I know now that the majority of you are just bandwagon jumpers. Sorry Jim Rob, I never thought you would be among the minority on your own website.

It must be one he!! of a big house! The average re-roof has less than $3,000. in materials.

This election is not about electing Romney, its about removing Obama and his Czars. Romney is the lesser of the two evils. Yeah he’s kinda mushy but at least he knows the business of America is business. Maybe by some fat chance he may even bring some people on board with a back bone and do something about all the restrictive regulations applying to business. We need to become a competitive producing nation again.

You must have missed his post where he said he is supporting Romney.

I’m a Realtor. Biz is slow. I’ve witnessed more than a few say “I’ll buy a house when/if Mitt is inaugurated”.

What a great idea! If Rush or Mark Levin picks up this story, he could probably get plenty of signers in just a few days!

I love Sarah Palin too. She also has great political instincts. I am happy to agree with her advice, to support Romney-Ryan, to do whatever I can , to defeat Obama.

No, there will never be a "conservative" party when people like you demand that everything must be done in one fell swooop, that any "R" elected must meet your exact, narrow criteria, instead of taking one step at a time. The "salami slice" approach works for the Dems because most people are afraid of wholesale change (and it helps keep the movement under the radar).

Romney now, and hopefully both houses of Congress, and Ryan in 8 years, will give us 16 years (max) of control to work things through and install our own people in all levels of government agencies, where we can control them. Think about it....

“Don’t matter who wins in November. If Obama, I’m hunkering down to ride out the storm. If Romney I am going to wait and see if the checks his mouth is writing clear the bank first. Then if I am working 70+ hours a week steady for a few months. I’ll consider hiring on help or raising my prices to make the same money in fewer hours.”

Time will tell.

So far RINOmney isn’t talking at all about sound money, reigning in the fed, the vast overreach of govt into our liberties, etc.

All I hear is that he wants to be elected and will say anything to get there - meaning that when he gets there, the same old stuff since Bush 1 will continue.

I am carrying out my own plan that involves zero employees and going Galt.

Same old, same old - election after election - as I said before enjoy your RINO, you deserve it. Hold your nose and vote for McCain, hold your nose and vote for Romney (and we are supposed to do this for TWO terms?), etc, etc. etc. It will never end. When will the conservatives take a stand? I predict NEVER. I will NOT vote for Romney , I will NOT vote for Obama. I think Romney will be WORSE for conservatives than another four years of Obama. There will be enough conservatives in Congress to stop Obama but the GOPe will put tremendous pressure on them to get behind the party “leader” Romney and his RINO policies. Then they will want another four years of him. I can’t wait to see the whining and complaining on here by June ‘13 if Romney wins, but that’s ok, you all will back him again in ‘16. Have fun with that.

I’m a Realtor too.
My plan is in place.

1)When Romney wins the country will be financially energized and our businesses will kick back into gear...banks will loan, jobs will come back and houses will sell.

2)If obama wins, all hope will be gone so I’ll stop paying my mortgage and learn how to live the life of a welfare person with food stamps, disability, housing assistance and free medical care. I read somewhere that if you can become an illegal alien you’ll get even more.

I’m praying for Number 1.

First of all it must be driven home to this evil "one-percenter" that he didn't build that business.*He* didn't attend college for 4 years...*he* didn't attend medical school for 4 years...*he* didn't complete 3 to 9 years (depending on specialty) of post graduate training, averaging 80+ hours a week during that entire period.

Somebody else did that!
