HUGE rally Thursday night at BoA stadium: Trump,Eastwood, Hank Williams, and Ted Nugent to headline
one man's opinion...

Seizing on the opportunity offered by the Dem's last minute decision to move Obama's acceptance speech indoors Thursday night, Donald Trump, various Tea Party groups, and other conservative organizations quickly announced that they had rented the now-suddenly-available Bank of America stadium for a rally Thursday evening, and expected to fill the stadium to capacity.

Arrangements are still being finalized, but reliable sources have said that Clint Eastwood, Hank Williams Jr, and Ted Nugent would headline the show.

The GOP ticket is still assessing this event. It's unlikely that either Romney or Ryan will attend. However, other prominent Republicans may decide to address the crowd. Jim DeMint, a Tea Party idol, who was noticably absent during the Tampa convention, may deliver a "keynote" speech. The Dem's weak excuse for moving the speech indoors..a slight threat of bad weather, was quickly shot down by Tea Party spokesmen. "They couldn't fill the place if they PAID people to attend, and they are petrified of TV shots of all those empty seats, watching an empty suit mouth banalities, especially after the potent image of Clint Eastwood speaking to an empty chair at the GOP convention last week."

"Conservatives aren't afraid of getting wet, and we're going to show the the nation, and the world, that North Carolina is a RED state."

"We expect to fill the place, and to make enough noise that they can hear us INSIDE the convention hall."

"And just in case, we'll be handing out umbrellas to everyone who attends, compliments of Donald Trump."

Trump will be addressing the rally, and said that he was happy that he could deliver on his promise for a "big surprise,"..which had to be cancelled last week at the RNC because of Hurricane Issac.

Dennis Miller had an even better idea.

Rent the stadium and place and empty chair on the stage with the empty seats. LOL!

Democrats apparently are seeking to avoid the possible embarrassment of Barack Obama accepting the party’s nomination in a partially empty stadium by moving his speech to a smaller indoor arena and citing inclement weather.
Obama’s speech is set for Thursday at the 74,000-seat Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. But officials have been working hard to fill it, the London Daily Mail reports.

My question is this, How do the Democrats explain the move if Thursday is forecast as a “picture perfect day and evening”?

Since “God” was removed from the DNC platform, I think Obama’s re-election team felt they should protect the candidate, not the people attending the rally

Brilliant move! It looks like the Republicans actually want to win this one. They should invite Sarah Palin.

FROM THE WEATHER CHANNEL:

DAY

high 86

chance of rain 40%

humidity 82%

winds SW 8 mph

NIGHT

low 69

chance of rain 30%

humidity 96%

winds SSW 6 mph

I would say, it's about average weather for Charlotte this time of the year.
