it's a town hall meeting. they will stack the deck in the audience with 26 year old lesbians with breast cancer that need their birth control pills paid for.
"how can you take my obamacare away from meeeee? I will die!!"
candy is an absolute leftist, and she is listening to the MSM uproar over the last debate. she will whack mitt at every opportunity in the next debate.
Then it up to Romney to be ready for it and beat them at their own game. Leaders lead, they do not blame everyone else for their failures. He wants the job, well he is going to have to earn it.
Doom and gloom, go away. Romney will do absolutely fine.
I guess you haven’t heard that Candy’s out.
I am confident that Romney is well aware of this potential and is planning accordingly. He is not going to go in there flat. I think he is going to do exceptionally well in the next debate - he is great at giving responses off the cuff and doesn’t need a teleprompter like Obamao.
Calm down, I think we’re OK.
I thought the next debate is on foreign policy. Will they allow off-topic questions?
Run in circles, scream and shout
That is what some were saying about the first debate.
RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The State Run Media moderator-woman is going to destroy us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m not exactly a Romney “fan”, but sheesh.... man up already and get a damn grip.
But why would a lesbian need birth control pills?
Why no Conservative moderators. Every debate always have a Lib/Dem.
Romney will simply preface every response with:
“Candy, I don’t accept your premise.”
Is the next debate on foreign policy in a ‘town hall’ setting?
Have some faith in our guy. He isn’t Dole or McCain!
Romney has the smooth confidence of a highly intelligent, accomplished businessman. Obama has the prickly arrogance of a spoiled Affirmative Action protege who was showered with college degrees, editorship, the presidency, a Nobel Peace Prize, all because of the tone of his complexion and nothing more. I believe in meritocracy. Romney will do fine.
Huh?
ALL 3 DEBATES ARE SETUPS!
So what’s new here?
And yes, I hate the townhalls. I hated when CNN stacked primary debates with gay generals and in one used a uunion leader as an ‘ordinary worker’ - stagecraft for liberals.
My guess is Team Obama will get one of the audience members to pull the 47% stunt. Obama cant use it directly, Romney can rebut it. But it will be hard for a 47%er to not make Romney look bad if she starts crying on TV “you called me a moocher and hurt my feeeeeelings!”
Romney will always be the smartest man on the stage.
I think you are probably 100% correct
Romney has already demonstrated he thinks on his feet WAY better than Obama, and because a townhall format is going to be more volatile than having the moderator run the whole show, Romney should be in a better position than Obama from that perspective.
Also, consider that Romney should be going into this debate with some confidence due to his first knockout performance, and Obama is going to probably be way more nervous due to his earlier terrible performance and the fact that he’s under even more pressure than the first debate because the stakes for him are even higher this time since he did so badly the first time.
I suspect that Mitt has figured out how to get under Obama’s skin, and that unlike Obama, Mitt can control his emotions. I think part of Obama’s problem is that he probably can’t control his emotions and the resulting internal turmoil of trying to appear calm while he is internally seething greatly interferes with his thinking ability.
I’ve also wondered if part of Obama’s awful performance is because his internal polls show he’s going to lose re-election and yet he is still being forced into the humiliation of these debates in which he faces an opponent who is smarter and more capable than himself. Romney on the other hand may already know he’s probably going to be the next President, and is therefore may be acting accordingly.
During these debates, Obama is totally on his own without the adoring handpicked crowds, the worshiping press, total control over everyone else in the room because he’s “The President”, and someone to whisper all the answers in his ear. Obama really is an empty suit, and that’s not going to change from the first debate either, so I’m not expecting Obama to be that much better in the subsequent debates. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s even worse than the first time.
Am I correct?
