Again, he was asked a question, gave an honest answer. Do we really want to be like the lying left? That’s no way to cease the moral high ground. I have no interest in a right Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Barack Obama.

He’s answer was regarding relief efforts. It’s non-political issue, or should be, though I realize the left politicizes everything, Alinksy tactics an all. His answer made him look bigger than any of the Obama supporters crying that Romney’s call for supporters to donate relief items is nothing more than a political ploy. Plus Christie looks bi-partisan, a plus for “independent” voters.

Let’s save the attacks for issues that the Ds are actually screwing up on, which there are plenty. Christie’s praise is harmless at worst.

Christie is taking active command as a responsible Gov. Romney is on the ground assisting with collecting donations. Bammy is in comfy DC helping with redistributing the taxpayers charity.

At least Christie isn't moaning and complaining about Fed Govt assistance like La. ex-Gov. Blanco and Chocolate City mayor Nagin.

All I hear on the radio and news is how Christie called Obama great and extraordinary...blah blah blah.....just what we needed before the election.

Christie is doing a superb job. I just watched his presser. We have no idea yet how bad NJ got hit, because there are no pictures so far. I know the Jersey coast well, and maybe 100 miles of it has been literally erased. Atlantic City is a disaster, it's miniature version of NO after Katrina, and its mayor is as stupid as Nagin ever was.

Most important, Christie this week, and in the coming weeks, has guaranteed his own re-election.. Corey Booker has been positioning for a run...now, Christie should be a near lock...

Praising a President for doing his job in the midst of the final days of an election campaign. Give me and effing break!

Where was this spooge during the Gulf Oil Spill for weeks on end?

Where was he during the torrential rain store damage and flooding in Memphis?

Where was this spooge during Benghazi?

Where was this spooge any time there was a national problem that didn’t relate to re-electing his sorry ass?

Where was he...where was he...where was he? He was in Vegas campaigning I guess.

You can’t constantly be on the attack, he more important business to attend to than partisan issues. If he went into attack mode, he would have made this storm political and that is the worst thing he could do at this point with his state being so hard hit. Leave the attacks to the Dems.

I agree that this is not the time for an attack, but purposely working one of Obama’s slogans into his comment
wasn't neccessary either.

Find a better radio station to listen to. I don’t hear such things on D.C. radio. I doubt people are going to decide to vote Obama because he decided to be president for a day. Ultimately the economy is near totaled and Romneys being extraordinary himself regarding relief efforts.

Also employment #s due Friday which may or may not be released. Either way Christies comments will be long forgotten by then.

WTIC in CT....while I agree about people voting...I just don’t think this Failure in Chief deserves kudos for anything. Crisp Crispy took it too far. An appropriate response would have been “Response was adequate...but its the people who are pulling together and lifting themselves up....not the federal government”.

And there were people who despised Gingrich for sitting on a couch for a 30 sec sound byte with Pelosi?

I lost my respect for Governor Christie after he lowered the flag to half-staff for the likes of Hollyweird celebrity Whitney Houston. His convention speech was terrible and he praises and sucks up to Obama and the feds when it’s convenient for him. He also seems to have a hard time controlling his temper. I’m starting to wonder why Christie is so popular in the Republican party.
