Ugh, found another data typo as soon as I hit post. Virginia should read: Virginia: Obama lost 3.8% of his 2008 voters while Romney got 2.7% more votes than McCain, which means Obama won Virginia by a smaller margin (50.8% to 47.8%) than in '08 (52.7% to 46.4%).

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. Great nations rise and fall. The people go from bondage to spiritual truth, to great courage, from courage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to selfishness, from selfishness to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependence, from dependence back again to bondage.

We have hit that tipping point. Immorality, deviancy are the normal. The give me mentality is generational now. There is no going back. This was our moment to push back the tides of the takers.

Good luck to survive I wish you well. As for me, I’ll be investing in food and precious metals, like gold and lead.

Good numbers compilation. But I also see a lot of truth in this statement issued yesterday by the Palm Beach GOP -

The Death of Heroism

The firefight lasted seven hours. The Obama Administration had to do the math, calculating the worth of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Seals Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, and Information Officer Sean Smith against the possibility of losing votes in Ohio. Ohio won. And the President won Ohio. There is no public outcry. President Obama correctly realized that America had tipped, and Heroism ran a distant second to pop culture.

The other heroes, those that put their life savings, time and lives into building businesses and creating wealth, have similarly met an untimely death. The American people could not have been clearer. From New Hampshire to California, through the industrial heartland of Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan, American Exceptionalism, Rugged Individualism, Entrepreneurship and Citizenship have finally been put to rest. The Welfare State is now permanent. The rejected model of “save and invest” has given way to the contemporary model of “tax, borrow and spend.” We are all Californians now, on our way to Greece. This will not end well.

It is hard to see a future for Conservatism. It does not exist in Europe, or California. It is no longer welcome in America. The Republican Party will have to take a good look in the mirror and decide what, if any, future it has. For that I make this declaration: “We will not settle in to become the tax collectors for an Obamanation.”

Chairman
Republican Party of Palm Beach County

And whatever happened to “300,000 less Rats in those Ohio counties”? I guess they didn’t actually have to “be” there to vote.

I Do NOT Believe Our Country Is Trending Significantly Leftward and Here's Why (Part II)

This is just left wing (media) propaganda. No, we do not have to go left. In fact, we've gone too far left. we keep running RINOs. That's why we LOSE. No one wants a RINO. Tax payers need someone to speak for them, and these' no one who'll do it.

What we need to do is go after tax payers BIG. They've been used as slaves for the democrat base for way too long. Go BIG with tax cuts and social spending reductions for the working class, and people will come from every corner of the country to vote for our guy.

No man should be used as another mans slave. It's time the democrat base paid it's own bills like the rest of us.

I think we're still in good shape if people just freaking go to the polls next time!

YOU ARE A RETARD!! Don't insult us with 'going to the polls' and use that as an excuse for the bony @ss and wideload being in OUR house - he belongs in the jail house!

Yes, Obama won by a smaller margin than he did in '08. We all know that. The thing is, it was understandable for America to vote for Obama in '08. The wars were unpopular, the economy was in shambles, McCain was a terrible candidate, and Obama was a blank slate and offered something fresh.

It is not understandable for America to re-elect Obama given what we know now.

There are other indicators of an ongoing rightward trend. We defeated 2 pro union constitutional amendments and a green energy mandate amendment in Michigan as well.

I gotta admit that I take perverse pleasure in the fact that Debbie Stabenow got more votes in Michigan than Obama.

We also need to seriously outreach more to blacks, Hispanics, etc. It sucks because one shouldn't have to pander to perceived "victim" groups, but that's the reality of politics. Am I being Pollyanna-ish? Probably. But I'm also trying to be realistic.

ONLY if it's to explain conservative principles to them. All they know about us is what the liberal media and democrat politicians tell them. We need to set a good example, and ask them to follow us.

I'm not going to pander or reinforce their perceived victim hood. It would be a lie. The democrat brainwashing - that only a democrat politician can save them from themselves - is the only thing holding them back.

I think conservative groups should start running TV commercials right now that explain what conservatism is. Otherwise, with the media being 80% liberal, how will voters ever know the truth?

I won't read further than this:

Colorado: '2012 (51.2% to 46.5%) than in 2008 (53.7% to 44.7%).

If what you're saying is that the past 4 years, which should be enough to convince 10% of voters to switch, against a strong candidate which should have been enough to switch another 5% ...

... if you're saying this is good news, you are unaware of how demographics have tipped the scale in western cultures. Mitt ran a campaign honest enough if not perfect, to transmit the message. Obama also transmitted his message.

Had Mitt won by 4% and taken fewer than 318 EVs, it would still be an indictment of the electorate, as ignorant. Ignorant of the Constitution, and ignorant of economics, and greedy. What a joke that the producers are considered greedy.

There is no explanation for what just happened other than that Americans had a clear choice, had plenty of opportunity to recognize that Obama is a liar and they voted for him anyway. It's an irrational, identity based tribal electorate now.

That's the majority. It wasn't supposed to happen for another 10 years, but it happened now because O hypnotized white women. In 10 years, women may open their eyes, but at that point, the gap will have been covered by demographics, and the left won't need them.

Every single statistic you can throw it me confirms this. After the past 4 years, the record that shouldn't have even needed to be explained by Romney or anyone else, for an opposition party to lose having run a strong candidate with a believable, rational, positive message, was proof that it's over.

The minor things Mitt isn't perfect at would only have bought a few more years. Nobody voted for Obama out of ideas, they voted identity and brand name and ignorance. They shot themselves ... and they'll never know it.

All of this high brow soul searching ignores the obvious.
The Democrats bought the election with generous unemployment, welfare, food stamps, obama phones, etc., etc.
And the media ran cover for him by lying their butts off.
Simple.

We win a battle every now and then but we have been losing steadily since maybe Hoover. Reagan was one of those battles I mentioned, Walker in Wisconsin is another example...but our culture continues its decline at rapidly increasing rates. Our country is circling the drain. The coming financial collapse may provide us with an opportunity, but it won’t be for the timid.

if you ignore how the anti white demographics trend then you are stupid

or willfully ignorant

and don’t lecture me on their difference

the problem is it is INDEED more than skin deep

were it only about skin color and hair texture and height and physical crap we could fix that easy

it is far far more than that....

and i goes back to the settling of this hemisphere and elsewhere when Europeans gained global control for the first

you want to get smart...read Camp of The Saints..and the Dems are exploiting that

that’s what this..

the non white world are for the most part The Borg

and we are the Federation...what’s left of it

they do not share our culture, values or appreciation of our history...in fact they mostly loathe it

I am simply amazed that freepers persist in being so naive

Yes we can encourage the few not on the dark side but there is no way in time to shift enough of them to matter from their cultural rot that breeds them voting as they do for the most part

the power we can get to maybe is to shift stupid whites...mainly northerners

the white youth vote actually did go our way barely...surprising

we can hope Obama brings enough cataclysm to wake up the goofy northern non religious whites

and that is a long shot

and save that Catholic canard...it means not jack
