When do the apologies to Bush/Cheney begin to materialize?

Strange, the author calls Assad a thug but he was trustworthy enough to keep the chemical weapons.

It was all in Tommy Franks book. In those interminable months of lead-up to the invasion, convoy after convoy of trucks left Iraqi weapons depot sites for Syria’s Beqaa Valley.

IIRC, they watched it real time on imagery in the CENTCOM situation room. I think Rifle DeLong mentioned it in his book too.

If so, this may be the reason not much was found in the way of WMD by victorious U.S. forces in 2003.

Partially true. Actually a lot was found in Iraq.

The No. 2 general in Saddam Hussein's air force says they were the WMDs we didn't find in Iraq.
...
But Syria HAD chemical weapons long before GW2.
Doesn’t help when people don’t do their research.

Those two realities re not mutually exclusive. Are you among those who choose not to believe that WMDs were moved to Syria? It certainly doesn't reduce the emboldenment of a horrible dictator to augment his storehouse of weapons.

I choose to appeal to Occam's Razor in the discussion of this topic.

And the Syrian rebels have Libyan dirty weapons. How many Russians are in Syria now? Do we really want to send NATO and US Troops to bring peace. Obama is setting stage for war. Beware of the false red flag where Assad will be wrongly blamed for releasing NBC on his own people.

Politicians and DOD can’t even shave the beard off of the murdering terrorist Major from Ft Hood.

Obama is up to amateurish games without regard to our national security.

I’m simply saying folks seem to come off as if Syria didn’t have chemical weapons before GW2 starting (immediately before) and that’s ridiculous and simply not true.

A nit picking irrelevancy. The additional WMDs are just as dangerous whether Syria already had similar weapons or not.

Here’s some research for you:

The Russian Army moved key CW factory elements to Syria, ahead of the U.S. Invasion. THAT is the “convoy” effort the Iraqi referred to.

Just because Syria had CW, doesn’t meant Iraqi CW weren’t moved there.

“”most of the WMD chemicals ended up in our incinerators in the states””

Where are these incincerators and what is the source for this?
