NRA President: Democrats Shocked By Second Amendment Support
Freedom Outpost ^ | Mar. 17, 2013 | Tim Brown

David Keene, President of the National Rifle Association believes that Barack Obama and the Democrats have been shocked by the outpouring of support for the Second Amendment as they have launched the biggest gun control push in Washington and the states that we have seen. Americans are awake to the Obama administration’s tactics and the push of the Socialists in Congress to attack the Second Amendment and they are in for a rude awakening should they seek to continue down this road.

In an interview at CPAC 2013, Mr. Keene said that he believed former President Bill Clinton was correct as he warned Obama late in 2012 to be careful as he considered expanding gun restrictions.

“[Gun control proposals were] one of the main reason for Republicans seizing the House in 1994. Americans care about the Second Amendment and the president is seeing that,” Keene said.

Keene had been to Albany, New York and seen the protests of more than 10,000 people in the rain to the unconstitutional and tyrannical push of New York’s legislature and its governor.

“There are rallies like that all over the country. Members of Congress are receiving lots of letters. It’s clear the narrative that the president tried to construct was wrong. That’s the reason a lot of what [Obama] proposed is being slowed down,” Keene said.

He also spoke about the recent bill passed by the Senate Judiciary Committee which would enact universal background checks and would be a considerable overreach of the Federal government. His concern is that these would be largely ineffective apart from a national gun registry, which is also in Senator Dianne Feinstein’s bill. This would be the first step towards gun confiscation.

Keene not only criticized Obama, but also Senator Feinstein and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Obama, his Administration & his MSM cheerleaders all say Conservatives are crazy to think Democrats want to take our guns.

Then week after week some Democrat at both the state and federal levels propose laws that would do exactly that.

And we then hear the same chorus, "We Don't Want To Take Your Guns."

Sorry! ..but yes you do!

You know how a few sheriffs have said they will not enforce unconstitutional laws congress passes? My sheriff is one of those, but what if the state passes an unconstitutional law, do the county sheriff’s have to enforce it?

Not only “yes, you do”,

but add “and here’s WHY you want to”.

I hate to say that this administration and specifically this Justice Department are hoping for another Waco to cinch the deal on eliminating gun ownership. They are all newly equipped with MRAPs and armed drones (only to be used against American citizens on American soil "in combat"), and billions of rounds of ammunition. All they need is an excuse to kill anyone who opposes them and their unconstitutional agenda and then go for even more repression.

I have seen evidence that there members of the Justice Department who consider Waco a triumph and presumably they hope for more triumphs.

Perhaps it is because Americans have woke up to the last FIFTY YEARS of lies perpetrated by the bun grabbers.

And to think, in 1962 Thomas J Dodd and Emaual Cellar proposed the first federal law on common firearms.

1962; “We don’t want to take away your guns, we ONLY want to register handguns! Rifles and shotguns will not be affected”.

1964: “We only want to register all your guns, not ban them! Only Army surplus guns will be banned.”

1968: “We only want to register your guns, and ban “Saturday Night Specials” and small foreign handguns along with army surplus rifles!” (They got the ban on 5 shot army surplus rifles and handguns and small foreign pistols)

1970: “We only want to ban Saturday night specials! Large handguns and rifles will not be affected!” There was also a call at this time to ban all private possession of ALL GUNS.

1976: “We only want to ban all handguns! Long guns will not be affected!”

1981: “The NRA should give up their handguns, and they can keep their rifles!”- Lee Grant on GMA

1984: “We must ban “assault Rifles, unsuitable or hunting!”

1989: George Bush bans import of some foreign made “assault rifles”.

1992: Assault rifle ban passed by Clinton.

2000: first calls to ban single shot .50 cal rifles...

2012 calls for MORE bans on semi auto rifles and handguns.

and so it continues.

They lied to us in 1962.
They lied to us in 1964.
TheY lied to us in 1968.
They lied to us in 1970.
They lied to us in 1976.
They lied to us in 1981.
They lied to us in 2013,

AND THEY ARE LYING TO US NOW!

The day after an assault rifle ban is signed into law they will be back for the “protected” firearms.

We need the NRA. It’s a shame that it is littered with the likes of David Keene and Grover Norquist. They’ve infiltrated and destroyed just about every conservative institution, I just don’t see how we trust them with this one.

and

This is an older article by Pam Geller. It really gets to the root of the radical Islam infiltration of CPAC by David Keene, Grover Norqiust, Suhail Khan.

Who is this “President” of which they speak?

I know there’s some guy running around on our dime, spreading lies and doing his best to rabble rouse, but I don’t see anyone acting Presidential.

Come to think of it, has anyone seen the “Loyal Opposition” to the current Democrat Rulers, or does the Loyal Opposition only exist when the Republicans are in power?

I was at a small rally in Harford County MD on Saturday. The Maryland General Asylum is shoving through gun grab of gargantuan proportions. Thousands are against it. At least 50% of the cars driving by honked, waved or thumbs uped their support. Only two cars showed disapproval by waving the “finger of friendship.”

Simple enough in concept, a deep pit with a waterproof cover that can handle up to about 10 tons of weight, but collapses with more than that. An target weighs about 14+ tons. Plunk.

Right, simple in concept, but definitely difficult in execution. Can't imagine where you would find a worthwhile spot where you could build one. That's a lot of dirt to excavate and the cover would take some careful design to allow safe passage to smaller vehicles and collapse for 14 ton. Don't forget there is a hatch in the center of the roof.

I was thinking more along the lines of paint ball guns obscuring the windows while sappers cut the air hoses to the air bag suspension. Vehicle out of service. Some way to jam the rear door would be nice (thermite?) as well as a way to rapidly block the com systems (broadband jammer?).

Regards,
GtG

The trick is to channelize. That is, create passageways for smaller and narrower vehicles, leaving just one open that is large enough for an MRAP. And the MRAP doesn’t have to go down feet first. It can go nose first, or even sideways, to the same effect. So basically, a deep hole, full of water.

You don’t even have to fuss with a load bearing cover, just one that conceals.

They will enforce them only to a point to avoid possible liability lawsuits against their counties.

But I'd say on a scale of 50, that enforcement will be about 1.2 .

And pretty close to none. ;-)
