Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland and his wife Cynthia Woodward McLelland were shot to death in their home last night as reported by The Dallas Morning News:
"A law enforcement official who spoke on condition of anonymity described the scene at the McLellands' home as an awful scene where the door appeared to have been kicked in. 'There are shell casings everywhere,' the official said. 'This is unprecedented. This is unbelievable. This is huge.'"
Last month Kaufman County Assistant District Attorney Mark Hasse was gunned down outside the local courthouse by two men in tactical gear who remain at large, and authorities fear the murders may be connected to a retaliatory plot by Mexican cartels.
The drug cartels freelance their retail distribution and enforcement work to local street and prison gangs across the United States, and have recently been targeting both Mexican and U.S. law enforcement officials for assassination.
Last week the Texas Department of Public Safety released a report identifiying the Mexican drug cartels as the greatest threat to the Lone Star State as reported by KWTX: "six cartels have command and control networks in the state, moving drugs and people into the United States, and transporting cash, weapons and stolen vehicles back to Mexico." Former Texas Ranger Mark Leger says "Mexican drug cartels are a real and present threat to Central Texas," and "sometimes, the general public doesn't have any idea that there are gangs operating in their cities and towns."
Meanwhile, the Obama admininistation naively -- or is it cynically? -- continues to insist that the border is secure, there is no evidence of drug-related spillover violence, and American citizens have no need to own semi-automatic rifles and standard-capacity magazines for personal protection.

Wasn’t this the same county the Assistant District Attorney was gunned down in broad daylight two months ago?
Save.
same county confirmed. Reports of possible ties.
Note: reports of possible ties are unconfirmed. No arrest(s) in prior murder of Assistant DA at this time.
My apology for the question. Was not reading text properly within article.

I wonder if the cartels in Texas used Obamaguns obtained thru Fast + Furious.
They tried to pin Hasse on the Nazis. Even executed the guy they blamed. A little fast out of the post on that; now they’ll have to find a new scapegoat.
My money is on the second part of your first sentence. But, that is the type of animals that the majority of voters said that they wanted to rule over them in both 2008 and 2012.
Since Ruby Ridge and Mount Carmel, my advice is to stay as far from the fbi as possible, unless you are one of them.Is that the case?
I’ll have to agree. In the why, what, when and where; the thought is a real reality.
This is a means to an end. This is how to get your national police as well armed as your military. And your bankers and corrupt politicians will get rich from drug money to boot. This is all planned.
“The only thing that ended the gang wars was the end of prohibition.”
I see the problem is that there is more money, graft and corruption in keeping drugs illegal. Our elected officials benefit greatly. Ending this “ prohibition” would take the fun out of it.

The Aryan Brotherhood serves as one of the distribution networks for the Gulf Cartel, focusing mostly on meth distribution for product coming out of Mexico.
Apparently, the Gulf Cartel in the US relies on street gangs to carry out its business, but in Mexico the GC has a very organized presence. The GC is allied with the Sinaloa Cartel; one of their primary rivals is Los Zetas.
So I can distinctly see the possibility that the GC uses the Aryan Brotherhood to carry out assassinations of law enforcement officials and assorted folks that are “in the way” when the GC feels they cannot, for whatever reason, act directly in such matters. The Aryan Brotherhood can serve as their cat’s-paw when they need it.
More than likely, officials on this side are involved and making money off of drugs. It will become a civil war between them first before any other conflict develops here. It will be just like Mexico here.
These kinds of problems are NOT resolvable in a nation devoid of values. People get the kind of government they deserve (that they themselves create). The next thing that is going to happen is this: If anyone keeps blogging about this or pointing out who might be involved, they're going to get the same treatment. Time to start lurking and shut up.
