What’s doubly scary is that there are still way too many PhonyCons who insist Rubio and Paul are “conservatives” when they are lying Amnesty Liberals
For me, it’s hard to determine why these two ended up where they are. It isn’t unexpected, but the reasons why aren’t clear.
On the one had, they could have been well-meaning conservatives who have finally self-rationalized that they won’t be able to do anything until they get this “amnesty” thing out of the way because they won’t get that hispanic vote if they don’t. Probably further rationalizing that while this ‘amnesty’ thing is a deviation from principle, if they don’t call it ‘amnesty’ maybe it won’t be so bad - they can do other greater things, conservative things, that can offset that.
On the other hand, they could be just slick talking soul-less politicians who don’t give a damn about anything but rising up in the power structure of this nation, corrupt as it now is.
Maybe they’re both heady with the conservative media-darling attention that has been poured over them....I don’t know.
But I do know this. I’ll have none of it. No amnesty, nor anything additional to do with gun control in ANY form. I’m not going to be voting for a RUBIO or a RAND if it ever comes down to the case where I have that option. No Way
What’s triple scarey is that many people would legitimize Obama’s eligibility for POTUSA by claiming Rubio eligible. Shysters are shysters, con persons are con persons, politicians are politicians and people are suckers some of the time.
