Sixty odd years ago, as a first grader in Long Island, NY, I was in the test group for the Salk Vaccine. I still have the card and the little badge that identify me as a "Polio Pioneer."

How proud I am to stand against these barbarians! The essence of their cult is against science, against civilization, and against Almighty God!

As I recall, they handed out “pink” sugar cubes. I went to Kindergarten and First Grade in Elmont / Valley Stream.

I’m not even sure if my Parents were told I was being given the Vaccine at School.
