The prosecutors should be in prison for this travesty. They are no better than Mike Nifong. If George Z. was more noticeably black, there would never be a trial. The jurors have already formed their opinion. There is unbelievable pressure on them to bring back a guilty verdict. I will be surprised to see anything else. This is a reverse OJ case.

Basically every aspect of Zimmerman’s account matches up with the physical evidence.
Martin had the misfortune to go roaming around a neighborhood where a diligent neighborhood watch captain spotted him.
Instead of simply going on home, Martin chose double back and confront Zimmerman. Who knows what was said? I’m sure Zimmerman will tell a story.
But the physical evidence from this point forward matches Zimmerman’s account exactly.
If you are laying on the ground getting your face pounded with a guy sitting on top of you, I don’t see how you can be convicted of murder. You were defending yourself.
Had the prosecution charged Zimmerman with excessive force resulting in Manslaughter (or whatever the nearing charge to that would be) a rational jury might readily convict him.
Murder? There is no way in the world that Zimmerman should get convicted of that.

OT but I find that “everything is about race”. It is getting to the point of sheer stupitdity. Can’t arrest illegal aliens. Can’t do criminal background checks for future employees. Don’t even try to get a decent job as a white male. Don’t try to get into a decent college despite perfect grades.
In this case, the Prosecutor should have never brought the case to indictment. It was all for show. Judge bends over backward at every step of proceedings. Trayvon’s family gets big money. His lawyer makes up witnesses and skates away. The tapes were edited. The photos and other evidence were withheld until recently. I hope Zimmerman is found NG and sues Corey, Fla and the entire system.

There is a big difference between present-day Florida and South Central LA twenty-one years ago: Florida has had concealed carry for nineteen years.
Everybody in Sanford is going to be armed on the day of the verdict, and all the potential rioters are going to be well aware of that fact.

Of course it is. It's just that it isn't legally necessary. But unfortunately, it is politically necessary.
Zimmerman should NOT have used his face to attack Martin’s knuckles.
There is a large part missing from the autopsy report in regards to Martin’s condition. Glossed over by the pathologist (intentionally or not) was the damage to his liver consistent with heavy use of lean.
If Zimmerman goes free we’ll see “The Great ObamaNation” leading his people in a bigger and more better repeat of their MLK celebrations.
