I don’t know; NWS weather forecasts in this area tend to be pretty good. I was impressed recently when they forecast one cool day out of otherwise hot days six days in advance. And there was a similar forecasting lead of a rain squall. Your area may differ.
It depends on the time of year I suppose. Summer seems to be more accurate than winter
