The more who challenge him the more likely he is to win. Unlike death by a thousand cuts, a packed field will split the opposition seven ways from Sunday.

ps I do not, nor recommend anyone do social networking in such places as Facebook. unless you want to lose your job, get arrested or divorced.

It’s a page to oust Lindsey, not support him. I’d like to see their number rise so Lindey sees them and gets nervous.

Several?
How many of those are being paid by the Graham campaign?
Several = split the conservative vote = Graham win.
Surely, the conservatives are not that stupid -- again.

If the opposition does not rally behind a single candidate, Graham will win.

It's an old trick in politics ...
Lindsay Graham pays-off a couple of promising "locals" to runs against him ...
their goal ?
target Lindsay Graham "genuine" Conservative Opponent ...
and then deny that "genuine" Conservative enough election percentage points ...
and ... of course ... fund raising ability ...
to keep the "genuine" Conservative out of victory lane.
I suspect that Lindsay Graham has his Boyz already picked-out ...
one looks like Ron Paul ...
one look like Rand Paul ...
one looks (adorably) like baby-faced "Ricky" Santorum ...
Lindsay Graham, "Chuck-You" Schummer and Mitt Romney will be laughing their butts off ...
as will Rahmn Emanual and Karl Rove ...
.

He is probably funding some of these himself.
What happens is that you get 3 or 4 conservatives splitting 70% of the vote and one RINO who then wins with only 30%.
Sort of like how “Mitt” Ronmey got to be our guy last time, despite 70% of the GOP voters wanting someone else (some one more conservative, by the voting patterns)

Perhaps it's not "stupid;" more likely, it's arrogant and prideful.
Each person feels/believes he/she is the only one with all of the "right" positions, etc.
As a result, we get many challengers - which may result in Grahamnesty winning the primary (and general).
VERY frustrating on many levels!!!

The plan of the GOPe is to divide and conquer the conservatives by throwing a false conservative or two into the primary mix and splinter the vote. That way, Lyndsey wins with 37% of the vote.
To: MHT
My thoughts exactly. All we need is ONE solid challenger not a pack.
To: Mr. K
The flaw in your argument is that SC still has runoffs. NC doesn’t have runoffs unless the top candidate polls under 40 percent in the primary. But splitting the opposition would be right down the McPain-Graham alley; on that you are right. And what if Jebbie comes into SC to save Graham?

Have another cup of coffee and think that one over again, I think you missed the point. You are barking up the wrong tree.

Jim DeMint backed Graham in 2008.

“Surely, the conservatives are not that stupid — again. “
Unfortunately, they probably are. That’s exactly how we got Corker as a senator here ion TN. Two strong conservatives, either of whom would have ben a great senator, ran against him and destroyed each other.
