Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin set for collision over Syria at G20 summit

Russian president signals he will take action if America strikes at Assad as US counterpart admits relations have hit a wall

He then said Russia might restart Syria's suspended S-300 air defence missile contract. Describing the weapon as "very efficient", he said: "If we see that steps are taken that violate the existing international norms, we shall think how we should act in the future, in particular regarding supplies of such sensitive weapons to certain regions of the world."

I actually know some about the S-300 PMU....it has a very deadly phase-array TER (tracking and engagement radar). The -300 standing for 300km standoff detection, you don’t want your airplane being tracked by this - I don’t care what you’re driving.

Russia has a newer version under development (you can read it online) dubbed the S-400....guess what a 400 km kill range gets you....can you say JSTARS?

Putin used the democrat talking point “international norm” and turned it back on Obama. That’s hilarious.

I read where “Chicken-boner” won’t meet with the Russian delegation. I hope they tell the world what they wanted to tell congress.
