He drank the kool aid

The good ol' boys make sure he gets one every day...

"Drink up, Marco! I've had a cold one every day since I got here! Look what it's done for me! Heh heh! Heh heh! Listen to the lady - I love her!"

“No doubt that Rubio was and is a RINO.”

He’s a Jeb Bush creation.

"What the????"

Shouldn't be any surprise about it. Rubio outed himself as a moderate and a quisling with his immigration drive. He remains one, no matter what smirking face he puts on now.

That’s because Rubio is now a full member of the “The Club”, otherwise known as the U.S. Politburo.

That sure didn’t take long did it? Apparently, the only elected official that has an innate moral compass and strength of character sufficient to avoid being corrupted by power and perks is Ted Cruz.

Yes, I knew of Gurr. In cases where there are multiple primary opponents I have prefered the ones who seem best able to articulate Constitutional conservatism. Gurr doesn’t come across to me as one with the idealogical fire I’m looking for.

Thanks for the info. I’m disappointed that Rand Paul would betray the very people who helped get him elected. It will be to his own detriment If he persists in his misguided endorsement.

Your SARCASM is unnecessary. I said I was not AWARE of his endorsement. Now I am. Lots of things I’m not aware of. There are probably some things you’re not AWARE of too.

CNN Political Editor Paul Steinhauser and CNN's Kevin Liptak

(CNN) – The election is still more than a year away, but Sen. Mitch McConnell's campaign coffers got a boost Monday when fellow Republican Sen. Marco Rubio helped rake in more than $230,000 at a fundraiser in Kentucky.

They’re all opportunists, very few politicians have core values, most only go with what they think will get them elected, whether deep down they believe in it or not.

There may be good reason for it. If Ashley Judd had remained the Democrat running against McConnell instead of Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes he might not have thrown his support to McConnell.

Even though I think having her provides no real difference then Mitch in the big picture, and makes me disappointed in Rand, he must view it differently. That is the only reason I can see as a possibility he did endorse McConnell.

That he did, but Rand has kept his voting house in order. Rubio hasn’t.
