This controversy reared it’s ugly head 20-odd years ago. Someone claiming to be a “Native-American activist” called Dennis Praeger’s show and asked him how he would like it if there were a team called the Texas Jewboys? Praeger responded saying he would be overjoyed, after 5000 years FINALLY someone would be cheering for us. I was ROTFLMAO!
Washington Jewboys, lol. Good one. My neighbor is part Indian, mostly not, a really big strong guy, he is a crashing bore about all the horrible things that happened/happen to Indians. So sad, he actually tears up. Get Over It, I said. Everyone gets conquered, insulted, and pushed around. Should we all be feeling sorry for our grandparents? We’d never get over it.
Not saying that Indians didn’t get a raw deal. But hey, who else gets to rake in millions in the nasty, filthy casino business? Tax free?
