These events inspire geology buffs AND space buffs alike, as it’s been surmised that moon orbit, sun activity, and geologic activity are somehow linked. I would absolutely suspect that more events are coming. We’re all floating on an ocean of magma. It’s all about where the next fissure opens up.

Floating on an ocean of magma on what is more or less a big, spinning iron ball magnet in orbit around a MUCH bigger magnet whose magnetic field is about to flip.
No reason to think that the sun has much effect on us in any way, but I'm sure a few scientists will find such an arcane event mildly interesting.
