Tragedies are not he basis for any kind of legislation, let alone gun control. Tragedy mongering will never work to preserve freedom.

Its about what you want it to be. Tragedies should have nothing to do with justice. Justice happens when due process is exercised by the People, as it will be in this case.
The 14 year old kid simply refused to comply with police damands to drop what was seen as a genuine weapon. That got his ass killed.Tragedy.

I’ve been in that kid’s situation. When you are not aware of a cop’s presence and, out of the blue, he is yelling commands without context, it is disorientating and takes a few seconds to register what is happening.
The kid was not likely refusing to comply, but was confused and wasn’t given the time to get his head around what he was being ordered to do.
I’ll say it again: Santa Rosa is filled with Latin Gangs.

I don’t think this post deserves your disdain.
There’s no shame in believing that cops should be held accountable for their actions, including not giving the suspect the proper chance to comply and surrender.
If you cannot see the potential wrong with this situation, there may be need for you to undergo a psychiatric evaluation. If you are a cop, please turn in your badge before you reactively kill somebody, for the good of the community.
It’s especially infuriating that something like this happened in Arizona, where the right of every citizen to legally carry a REAL AK-47 without being harassed by police is recognized and usually upheld by law enforcement. He shouldn’t have a job in any law enforcement capacity, but especially not in a pro-freedom state like AZ.

I doubt it, since justice in cases of police misconduct is rarely delivered nowadays.

Let’s be clear here. He was killed before he had a chance to comply with a completely unlawful police order. Is that what you want to be defending so callously?
With cops investigating cops, I’m sure justice will be done. Sarc.

If the boys in blue didn’t close ranks to protect every criminal among them as their default position, the public might not have to raise a campaign for justice after every one of these tragedies.
Then start a law suit dedicated to bringing about the justice you want. Converting people into frothing at the mouth rabid animals will get you no where.

Of course it gets you somewhere. It got the criminal cops that murdered Kelly Thomas arrested, even though they still got slapped on the wrist with lesser charges than were warranted. Never would have happened if we just took your advice.
Sometimes we must remind the government stooges who their bosses are. Often, actually.
This happened in California, the home of insane anti-gun laws. No open carry at all. The police here are trained to shoot EVEN IF the gun has an orange tip because gang bangers paint their REAL GUN'S with orange for an advantage in that split second of indecision.
