Hate to speculate on any marriage. Marriage is rough, and not for the faint of heart. The strains of public life would either make you or break you, but more often break you.
Doesn’t help if you subscribe to the more liberal, godless philosophy. Sometimes the only thread my own marriage hangs on is my faith in God and that’s it.

She likes the attention, but it hurts because neither of the first couple have thick skin and dislike any negative comments. My humble guess is that she wants the eight years to end....go to Illinois, and run for the Senate in the next election with zero background, and just having him campaign for her across the state. Then divorce him.
