11. Satan has no prophets, only minions and demons.

Wasn’t David guilty of similar things with Bathsheba and her husband?

Amend the details just a little bit and you have the behaviors of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young.

Unfortunately, the premise of this article is incorrect. Prophets of God were flawed individuals who engaged in sinful acts. Considering these brutal acts in the aggregate would certainly bring his status as “prophet of God” into question, but any individual act would not disqualify him.

God’s people have been called upon to do some pretty grizzly stuff. Read your Bibles! God was not pleased when the Jews did not engage in what we would call genocide today as they entered Canaan after wandering the desert for 40 years.

Deuteronomy 13:1-5 gives some illuminating requirements for a prophet of God.

(1)They must not cause the people of God to follow after other gods.

I think Mohammed fails in this one by denying the divinity of Jesus and on other counts, as well.

(2)Whatever they prophecy must come to pass without fail.

I suspect that we could find some unfulfilled prophecies in the Koran.

God gave mankind reason not religion.

Prophets are a figment provided by man....

More importantly, its impossible that a living man could see God's face and live; even Moses was not allowed to do this.

Let’s see, Mohammed was a thief, kidnapper, rapist, murderer, coward who had others do his dirty work, a demonic necromancer, pedophile, braggart, ignorant, degenerate halfwit, and his followers make themselves as bad as he was.

God wouldn’t give such a fool prophetic knowledge, but a god contorted out of hodgepodge mythology would.

The author might want to mention:

1. God always seemed to tell Mohammed to do what Mohammed wanted to do anyway. I’m always suspicious when God says “do exactly as you like. That’s My will.”

2. The Satanic Verses. At the time Mohammed said them, he claimed they were from God. Later, he didn’t like the contents and claimed they had actually come from Satan. If true, what is a prophet doing channeling Satan and not knowing it? And, how did Mohammed know which was which? On the other hand, his disavowal of the Satanic Verses was, IMHO, more related to the fact that they would have prevented him from doing what he wanted to do at a later time. So he just changed it up with the ol’ Satan made me do it excuse. Thus, I think this actually falls under number 1. Mohammed just made it up to convince followers that they were doing God’s will, not Mohammed’s.

Mohammed's only son died very young--he was never married.

The Biblical patriarchs, some of them, had multiple wives and/or children by slave women, and the kings of Israel and Judah were polygamous. Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines, according to the Bible.
