I will never forget the first time I heard someone lie to make themselves look better. I was in my 30’s and, although I knew people lied, I naively believed that they would not do so if someone that knew the truth could hear them. My department supervisor did just that in order to make herself look good. I remember standing there amazed, but too taken aback to correct her. That was over thirty years ago and I can remember it like it was yesterday. It was an eyeopening experience!

And even after he told huge numbers of lies during his first term, these highly intelligent people voted for Obama in his second election. He never said that he wanted to fundamentally transform “the nation.”

Sometimes God uses evil leaders to strike a people down. No matter how bad Obama is remember, more than half of the American people voted for him. We have nation that prefers the kind of leadership offered by the Democrats.

What does that say about our nation? What is amazing is how patient God has been with us in not yet delivering our nation over to total despotism...though, we are getting close.
