Russian Sanctioned By White House Responds On Twitter To "Comrade Obama"

Moments ago we listed the Russian Putin "advisors" impacted by the latest Obama executive order freezing those assets over which the US has access. Among them was deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and Russia's ambassador to NATO. As a reminder, in 2011 Russian President Dmitry Medvedev appointed Dmitry Rogozin as a Special Representative on anti-missile defence and negotiations with NATO countries on this issue. On 23 December 2011 Dmitry Rogozin was appointed deputy premier of Russian Government in charge of defense and space industry. As responsible for the defense industry he leads the creation of the Russian Foundation for Advanced Research Projects in the Defense Industry (Russian DARPA). Moments ago Rogozin replied to Putin's "freezing" of his, among other, assets.

We expect Obama to respond on twitter momentarily. We also look forward if Obama will provide the Russian with a loophole allowing them to allocate frozen assets toward Obamacare...

According to the EU and the US Yanokovich abandoned his post and, thus, it was his fault that the agreement between the Ukrainian gov’t and the Maidan protesters was never fulfilled.

Yes, I think there are several experts on international law out there who are cringing, but this is what goes for a coherent and logical message these days.

Therefore it is very difficult to say what the signatures are worth, and whether a an elected gov’t can decide to negate the treaty. One should remember that some minor parts of the present government are not at all interested in the EU. However, as a help against Russia they will go along for the time being. How much power will they have after the elections? Could be another big surprise for the foreign policy establishment.

(Remember when Israel asked the US and the EU not to allow Hamas,ie Gaza vote in the PA legislative elsctions? Oh, no the PA - the good guys - would win hands down. Didn’t turn out quite that way.)

That property does not belong to Russia; it belongs to Russian billionaires.

No, that property belongs to the Russian people. It has been stolen from them by the rotten at its core Russian oligarchy. That oligarchy has hugley benefited from Putin’s rule. Given that, it’s quite correct to expropriate those assets.

Aren't there two Americans up on the ISS now? Just saying...

They may be up in space, but can we be sure they're still on the ISS?

"Dasvidaniya!"

When you take the King’s Coin, you do the King’s bidding.

So it is.

Problem for the EU and the US is that whereas a couple of months ago Ukraine's bad economy was Russia's problem it is now theirs. Did no one in State or in the EU foreign offices think even a few days ahead?

Only if the USA intends to return this money direct to the Russian people :-) Otherwise it's like stealing Bill Gates' money for misdeeds of Obama.
