This is only true if you're a pigheaded narcissist who thinks nothing of consequence existed before you were born.
Life comes with TONS of instructions if you're willing to recognize them.
History books (use with caution, liberals write them)
Your community (church, etc.)
The Bible (or whatever text your religion uses)
Your parents/family.
If you have none of these things (really?) then you can rely on basic skills of observation to avoid the mistakes others around you make.
Life come wid consequences.
