Does the “gay” figure represent only those who were uniquely gay? Or does it include estimates of those from the other persecuted groups who may have been gay as well?

It is true that SOME homosexuals where persecuted, particularly after the night of the long knives. However, there was a massive presence of Homosexuals in the leadership and ranks of the NAZI party and not even the white washing of the present day homosexuals can change that reality.

Here is what the takeaway should be. In 1930’s Germany, being a social deviant was the “in thing.” These were the rebels, the ones who tried to change German society, not unlike America’s rebels of today. They brought cultural change to a nation which was pretty much conservative for generations. During this time, there was also a big push from the Comunists to the east. Among those Communists were many Jews who managed to get across the border as well as those who lived in Poland and neighboring countries.
The one who promoted this change was none other then that wacky mustachioed Austrian height challenged corporal with the Napoleon complex. Him and his cadre of radical socialists fomented the breakdown of German society and once in power he pounced.
Everyone who was instrumental in the social collapse of Germany were systematically slaughtered. During this slaughter, Hitler created a sense of nationalism which included the ethnic cleansing of the European Jewish population as well as the ridding of the Commuist presence.
Why is this important? If Ed Schultz had any brains he would realize what happened in Nazi Germany is the same thing happening here. We are in the phase of social collapse. This will be combined with cronyism at the corporate level as well as the consolidation of industries. Education and religion will be regulated by the state.
Here is where it gets interesting. 2 things have to happen. The first is someone will have to be blamed. The second is there will be a call to nationalism under the guise of taking our country back. Once this happens, the first people persecuted and killed will be the deviants, because they are the easiest to blame for the cultural meltdown. The second will be the Jews. This is why Kerry has his panties in a wad.
However, none of this can happen due to one and only one reason. That is called the second amendment. As long as people can organize and fight back, the government cannot persecute. We saw it in Nevada. They are clueless as to what to do when we the people organize.

The Pink Swastika (a free ebook) explains the role of homosexuality in the Nazi movement very well. While it is true that a few effeminate homosexuals were targeted by the Nazi’s, the Nazi movement itself was led entirely by homosexuals and held a hyper-masculinized ideal of manhood.
Simply put, the Nazi movement was a homosexual movement.
Homosexuality is a deviancy that desensitizes people to the pain of others so that homosexuals are capable of atrocities that most people cannot comprehend.
Today the homosexual movement is destroying people’s careers and livelihood for any disagreement with them. But they will never be satisfied even when they are acting like the men of Sodom who wanted to break down the doors to gang rape the visitors of their city.
This is why the Old and New Testaments of the Bible both condemn homosexual acts as deserving the death penalty. This seems extreme to most of us, but when you see the long term destruction of lives due to tolerating this evil, it makes much more sense.

B) The ones who did die perished at the hands of diseases like Typhus in LABOR CAMPS. They were not put into gas chambers. They were treated like common criminals, thieves, murderers, and put into labour camps to do various forms of back-breaking labor. They were NEVER targeted for extermination. They were imprisoned for crimes under a statute that PREDATED the Third Reich, and when Himmler transferred prisoners to camps to aid in the war effort, they went as well.
This is beyond sick, white-washing of history by Special Ed. He should be fired, but when he got away with calling Laura Ingraham a ******ut, I doubt he will be pushed out.
There were stories of some gay inmates being used as harams for Nazi officials who would visit the camps.
Note that of those who you mention, a great many were just political opponents it was easier to accuse of sodomy to get rid of them. And others were male prostitutes who may have simply been doing it for money due to the poverty in the Wiemar Republic (many of these were imprisoned before Hitler came to power and subsequently transferred to camps along with all other criminals to perform manual labor)
