Guess who's the new political director for CNN? Oopsie!! NO 2016 GOP debate for CNN
one man's opinion... ^

My, my, my!! Talk about going all in, doubling down, whatever. CNN's really coming out of the closet, big time. Ya think they'd have learned something from the Candy Crowley debacle, but NOOOOOOOOOO. They're obviously charging hard from the left, for MSNBC's audience..Yup, they just named David Chalian as their new political director. This is the guy who was fired from Yahoo! in 2012 for getting caught saying on-air that the "Romneys weren't concerned with Hurricane Isaac at all. They're happy to have a party with black people drowning..."

As the RNC announces that it's going to reduce the number of debates in the 2016 cycle, and also not have lefties like George Stephanopoulis as moderators, I'd say that CNN just made it a lot easier for the RNC to disqualify them.

But just imagine what kind of coverage we can expect from CNN? I thought that Jake Tapper's new show held some promise...look for him to get sent to a re-education camp.

It only took them two election cycles to figure this out?

IMHO, in the last two elections the campaign managers for at least MCCain and Romney were Democrat operatives acting as ringers to torpedo their own candidates.

Well, if the liberal Gwen Ifill approves of this guy, sounds like reason for all of us to disapprove of him.

And whoever thinks Gwen Ifell should moderate, should be fired. That would be affirmative action run amok.

I wish there was some other outlet for debates than the “news” agencies. They are all a joke and almost no one watches them. The raw numbers would get any show cancelled after one episode.

I don’t know that there is another venue but the only thing worse than debates are the pundits aftarwards.

They hire the worst people and then they wonder why their ratings are low.

The RNC, nutless wonders that they are, will cave and do CNN debates with this guy at the helm. Because they’re stupid like that.

I don’t believe it is a good idea to have debates within a party....It doesn’t help.

What would happen if CNN held a debate and the GOP didn’t show up?

It has a major presence at airports, just like the TSA. I think that they’re required to show it.

Airports, Post office, Library, and Bank of America are my memory of it being seen.
